摩恩住宅飯店(Hotel Residens Møen)

Résidence très bien située en bord de mer. Nous avions réservé des chambres avec petit déjeuner inclus. Chambres confortables, de bonne taille et avec salle de bains privative. La salle de petit déjeuner donne sur le front de mer - le petit déjeuner est simple mais de bonne qualité. Le personnel n'avait pas l'information de notre arrivée (le seul endroit où j'ai eu besoin du voucher) Restaurant fermé, apriori pour cause de vacances. Dans l'aile dans laquelle nous étions, il y avait une cuisine partagée. Bien utile pour nous le premier soir car nous sommes arrivés un peu tard et avons diné sur place après avoir fait des courses au supermarché local. Présence également d'un petit espace détente. Parking privé

Hyggeligt, hjemligt selvbetjent "hotel". Ligger i den dyre ende, idet det mere ligner et luksus-vandrehjem. Desværre ret fugtigt i Aller vinduer, håndklæder og gulvtæpper.

Charmante résidence en bord de mer. Les points positifs : situation en bord de mer, vue superbe, salon et cuisine commune et balcon commun où on peut manger avec vue sur mer. Le point négatif est qu'il n'y a personne sur place. Il s'agit d'une résidence sans réception avec un système de boîte à clef.

Har tidligere boet der med reception, lille bar og en ganske udmærket restaurant - nu bliver man kun mødt af en nøglebox og en rimeligt høj pris

Visiting Denmark I was sceptical, I saw the amazing reputation for the area and the hotel. I was very pleasantly surprised with the friendliness of staff and stunning views. Will most definitely return with family again, great experience!

Lovely hotel in what is otherwise a rather quiet and seemingly run down town. Restaurant was great but probably good idea to prebook their dinner deal than pay for the à la carte menu. Room was very comfortable and there were facilities to make coffee or even cook a meal. The view was amazing and the staff great. The only down side was the buffet breakfast where everything was presented separately in different dishes so the meal required around a dozen glass dishes! Finally, it’s worth trying to book directly with the hotel to get the best deal rather than *********** as we did 🙁

On the plus side, we got a comfortable, clean & spacious room in good condition. The hotel has a good location near the water and high street. Electric car charger. Helpful staff. On the minus side, the self-service breakfast was an extra 800 kr for 2 adults and 2 kids and for that price should be far more extensive in the range offered, for example including hot food. Very little for vegans - fruit and bread. For the small amount on offer, breakfast should be included in the price. Aside that, a very pleasant staff.

Residens Moen is (mostly) an apart hotel, with rooms set around a central courtyard, located about 5 minutes walk from town and adjacent to the harbour. Opposite the hotel is a short public pier with steps for swimmers to access the shallow waters nearby. The hotel caters primarily for the families, perhaps staying on Møn for a vacation. Bedrooms are simple, clean, simply furnished (in the Scandinavian style) with basic catering facilities in the room, or in an adjacent kitchen (for the smaller double rooms). The staff were generally friendly and helpful, accommodating all reasonable requests, with most employees speaking excellent English. Breakfast (not included in price) was a simple buffet arrangement in the main dining area, and reservations were necessary. The major difficulty is the bedroom heating system which, according to staff, cannot be turned off. Being supplied from a local warm water plant, there is no control over room temperature, despite the presence of thermostats on radiators. The only solution is to open windows, which are to street level on the ground floor at the rear of the hotel. Coupled with the presence of mosquitos each evening, the open windows and room lighting were a temptation to be bitten regularly. If travelling in the summer, prepare for the heat, and take bug spray at all times. Being a small hotel, the reception is not staffed at all hours. Unfortunately during our stay, the key cards were repeatedly defective, making it very hard to enter one's room when returning after 10pm. We will return for sure, but preferably not in midsummer.

Our reservation was cancelled by Hotel Residens Møen 20 minutes before our check-in. We had booked our room to celebrate my 30th birthday and were very disappointed. No other room was available. We did ask for a compensation but the hotel declined, even though they did admit the fault was fully theirs because of a double reservation. Very disappointing and we are not happy with the service of this hotel.
