Need to have the ice machines serviced so a guest doesn’t have to walk the hole way around the building and then be told to go find another one and it didn’t work and if that was didn’t go up the stairs and there is another one there and it didn’t work so we had to walk the hole way around the building again on the second floor to find one ice machine that worked. Then while walking all the way around the stairs outside to go to the ground floor and parking lot were closed (Saftey Issue if there was a fire). The service desk employees were very polite.

Check in was smooth, staff was friendly. We went to our room through a side door, there was trash all over the floor of the hallway. After getting in our room, went to wash my hands, no hot water. Maintenance was quick to come down, but after an hour of hearing nothing and still no hot water, we also discovered food under the bed from before we arrived. We requested a refund and found a cleaner hotel

Stayed here many times and the hotel is what it is. It's an okay hotel and a convenient, less expensive place to stay. It is not a luxury hotel, it's old and outdated in many ways, but fine. I do appreciate that they got rid of the old carpeting in the rooms (at least our room) and replaced with vinyl flooring. But the TVs are still small and standard definition; they really should offer HD by now. Staff is always nice and friendly, the rooms are clean, but the pillows are small and not very comfortable. Bring your own if you're picky about pillows. Biggest negative was the wait staff at the restaurant attached, PJ Harrigans, they had a lot to be desired. Not friendly, terrible service and they pretty much ignored us till we left and went some where else.

I was not happy with my stay. First, when I booked I was unaware that there was not access to the hot tub which was the main reason for choosing. I had a very stressful doctors appointment that I had to go to the next morning and was looking forward to that to help relax me. Secondly, the door frame on my room looked like some one had tried to pry it open several times. The toilet leaked water out the bottom of it when it was flushed. Go to the vending machine outside of our room and it was out of order. We (my husband and I) are handicapped so it really wasn’t an open to go looking for something cold to drink. I just expected more from a conference center in State College.

Decent for the price. I was in a room in the older section. Small room with no windows, not a full 8ft ceiling. Two double beds (not queens) and the mattress was very good. The bathroom has been fully renovated but it is small. Good for an overnight stay. Passable breakfast. Would be OK for 1 or 2 people but not really for a couple with one child. Other rooms might be different.

The motel was under construction when we arrived. We were unaware at booking. At checkin we were not told either. We found out when we drove to our room to find construction trailers, nails, etc everywhere. We were told there were no other rooms available upon calling to complain. Our room window opened to a large truck container. Just to park we had to carefully check to make sure we didn’t drive over nails. We had 2 rooms and the other was on the other side of the complex. The conditions of the room were the same as below. The room’s floor was laminate covered in dust. Our feet were nearly black from dirt waking in the room. Our room had only 2 towels and pillows despite us being a family of 4. We did receive more upon request. The furniture was cracking. The bathroom door was gauged at the bottom. If this room had been renovated it was only the floor and maybe the tile. There was a severe lack of outlets. Luckily we brought an extension cord otherwise charging 4 phones would have been a major issue. The inside pool tile was coming off on our feet. Red tile pieces all over the place. The pool lacked lights at night The outside pool was nice but needed to be vacuumed. The staff was polite yet unable to handle the issues. We have stayed at a plethora of hotels ranging from cheap to luxury. We will not return to this motel and rank it near the worst we have stayed in.
