On Wednesday, 6/18/2025 at approximately 10:30 PM checked into Quality Inn Starkville, Mississippi. I had a terrible experience. The man at the desk asked me if I had a reservation. I said yes. He did NOT ask my name. But!!! He handed me a key Then he said he needed to show me to my room. He walked me to my room and opened the door with a master key… Then proceeded walked in the room and turned on the lights. …in other words A STRANGE MAN HAD ACCESS TO MY HOTEL ROOM AND ENTER THE ROOM UNINVITED When the man (hotel employee) left my room, I noticed that there was no latch on the door to lock it. I was confused and did not know how to react immediately. My 16 year old child was with me. So we moved a chair and a desk in front of the door to barricade us in because we were scared and felt violated We then noticed that beds were old and on metal frames There were no bed skirts There was a roach in the bath tub We then made the decision to leave Quality Inn Starkville, Mississippi and we made a reservation at the Hampton Inn! We were very happy at Hampton inn Since this awful experience, I have made multiple attempts to get my money back from quality Inn, Starkville, Mississippi. However, the company refuses to reimburse me. I feel as if I was violated, and I had to pay for it.
