The home has a large backyard with a pet door and ramp for older dogs. Just 3 blocks from the center of town, guests can walk to shops and restaurants.The Neighborhood:Riley's Retreat is on the north side of downtown Kanab. You are just a few blocks from restaurants, shops, parks, hiking trails, our city swimming pool and more.Getting Around:From the home, you can walk to anything downtown but of course, you'll want a vehicle to visit the parks and all of the exciting things to explore here.Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.Other Things to Note:Kanab is known as the "Hub of the Parks', and is the gateway to three national parks, Zion (30 Miles), Bryce Canyon (70 miles) and the Grand Canyon North Rim (70 miles). Visit the Grand Staircase - Escalante Monument, Lake Powell/Glen Canyon Recreation Area, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, The 'Wave'/Paria Wilderness, Pipe Springs National Monument, Kodachrome State Park, Cedar Breaks and Cedar Mountain. Also tour Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, or hike in the red rock country nearby through the many trails such as Squaw, Bunting, and K-Hill trails. Equestrian and biking trails are also available. Relax with a dream vacation and re-live life in the west where dozens of western movies were made, Kanab otherwise knows as 'little Hollywood' is home to the Western Legends Roundup, every August and features vendors, great food, two live stages and the National Cowboy Poetry Rodeo.
