This clean comfortable off the grid family cabin in the woods is the perfect Tahoe National Forest escape (on the west side of Tahoe National Forest about 1.5 hours away from Truckee and 1.75 hours from Lake Tahoe). Enjoy grilling during summer months or staying warm by the wood burning stove on snowy winter nights. We have a variety of games, puzzles, books, & DVDs for your entertainment. With nearby trails, dirt bike riding, lakes, hunting and shooting areas this cabin is a great home base for all your mountain adventures year round. Open floor plan with 2 bedrooms and a third room that can be used as a private bedroom or a family room. There is one bathroom in the cabin and one in a little room that is accessible from outside for muddy boots, fish and all the messy stuff that comes with fun. This cabin does not have electric service so it runs off a propane fired generator.
