Blown away by our stay at The Crown. From the welcome to vacating our room we were made to feel very welcome. 100% going back in the near future

Parking is normally on site but the square is being upgraded so no access at the moment. The Pay & Display is just a few hundred metres away.
The setting is superb, in the middle of a gorgeous town. The hotel is oozing character from bar to rooms and the team are very friendly.

Lovely hotel, I stay often but as it’s an old building there us no air con and the room was unbearable with the heat as the ceiling fan did not cool down the room. This can’t be helped and overall everything is good I just would not stay again in a heat wave.

Great location. Very comfortable stay. Very clean. Great service at breakfast. Internet was very intermittent and the TV kept freezing was my only criticism.

Brief stay on Christmas Eve though busy the hotel was quiet and the service was good. Breakfast was fine though we sensed the staff were tired and had a long day a head. Stamford as a town was busy and vibrant with plenty of cafes and pubs to visit. Beautiful cobbled streets and lovely walks down by the river.

This was our first night in the UK on a month-long trip, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place. The staff were all so kind, the rooms had everything we needed, and food was delicious!
