Amazing brand new beautiful hotel. Probably the most modern building in all of Malta.

Be awarw that the hotel has two buildings - something what we as guests were not informed about. We booked an appartment and were placed in the other buidling which is shabby, old and dirty - but the price is super high. On the second day of our stay there was no electricity so it was impossible to use the elevator (our room was on the 14th) floor. After this was solved, there was no electricity in the room for hours - reception was unreachable, nobody picking up the phone so there was nothing to do but sit and wait. If there is anything you want to use - fitness, pool or even go to breakfast - you always need to go to the other buidling which is totally inconvenient. Vegan choice at breakfast is non existent. All in all, there are much better options around.

A Disappointing Stay in an Unworthy Location We were genuinely excited for our stay after seeing photos of the hotel – a new, bright, and design-led building boasting modern architecture and sleek interiors. On first impressions, the hotel itself appears promising, clean, and well-appointed. However, any initial optimism was quickly overshadowed by the reality of its shocking surroundings. The area around the hotel is, quite frankly, squalid. Derelict buildings line the streets, rubbish is strewn across ancient, crumbling pavements, and the noise and visual pollution from never-ending construction projects (cranes as far as the eye can see) makes for a deeply unpleasant environment. The mornings are especially grim, with remnants of the local nightlife left behind – uneaten fast food, broken bottles, and even vomit – hardly the start to a relaxing day. The hotel's rooftop pool, perched atop of the 8th floor with glass railings, might be a design marvel to some, but it left even the most height-comfortable among us feeling dizzy and uneasy. While undeniably modern, the hotel's choice of location is completely unfathomable. It simply doesn't belong in such a rundown, chaotic area. After just one night, we knew we wanted to move. We approached the hotel management to request a transfer, only to be told that our booking could not be amended. This left us reliant on Jet2, who said we’d need to pay for an entirely new holiday to change hotels – effectively stranding us in a place we wanted desperately to leave. To add to our frustration, the concierge was unhelpful and, frankly, dismissive. When we asked for basic information about the area, we were met with an uncooperative and slightly arrogant attitude, which only compounded our discomfort and disappointment. This hotel may tick boxes for design and style, but the lack of care for guests’ actual experience – especially considering the area’s state – makes it a deeply flawed offering. We strongly advise anyone considering staying here to think again. A pretty hotel in a filthy, noisy, and poorly managed location is not the getaway anyone deserves. We chose to fly home 5 days early.
