une super expérience au sein du Tyax Lodge. C'est vraiment un endroit unique bien caché dans les montagnes ou vous pourrez profité du silence et des activités proposées. je recommande toutefois de demander une chambre avec vue sur le lac. en effet cela a bcp de charmes! je remercie le staff pour m'avoir aidé avec justement le fait de changer de chambre. les repas au restaurant sont eux super bons ! je recommande aussi chaleureusement le restaurant. le Wellness vient compléter cette très belle pourvoirie, qui vaut le détour !

agoOh my goodness, what an oasis sitting out in the middle nowhere!!! Was quite a trek to get there from Jasper, a lot of which was along single track roads hugging the side of the hillside. My husband, who did the driving, loved it!! Boy was it worth it though. Tyax Lodge is gorgeous, a rustic log cabin design full of style and charm. The rooms are to die for, very comfortable and modern. Beautifully decorated with lovely shower toiletries the bathroom. The food was amazing and the staff were too. It was very hot whilst we were there and we were never without ice cold water that was continuously topped up. The scenery and lakeside is beautiful, the water is so clear. My husband took advantage of the free canoe and thoroughly enjoyed himself. We took advantage of the availability to hire the seaplane fir a half hour tour around the area - it was amazing albeit a bit of an extravagance. Wild humming birds were an absolute joy to watch and Fenwick the cat was a great surprise - I would have liked to have brought him home with us. We would certainly come back if we got the opportunity.

We loved our stay at the Tyax. We camped in our tent there first. The amenities for camping were hot showers and very clean bathrooms. They treated us like every other guest and we were allowed to use almost all the facilities. We stayed two nights at the end of our hiking trip. The room was large and the beds very comfortable. We loved the food! They served really generous portions- you get what you pay for, and it was delicious. The service was also excellent from every staff memeber. We will return.

I did not want to leave! The lakeview room was beautiful and had such a wonderful view of Tyaughton Lake. The facilities and amenities are all 5-star - I unfortunately didn't have enough time to experience the Spa but it looked beautiful with lots of options for relaxing. I can't wait to come back.

Je trouve que c’est courir loin pour le peu de neige. Il y a d’autre endroit au Canada ou en Alaska où l’enneigement est meilleur. Le lodge est très sympa, le personnel est au petit soin, la nourriture est bonne mais la difficulté de ski, l’enneigement, trop de surprudence des guides font que nous faisons seulement moins de 1,4h d’helico alloué et qu’il y’a pas moyen de mettre la pression. Souvent les mêmes descentes faites 3 à 4 fois d’affiliés. Dommage quand on vient d’aussi loin.
