WONDERFUL quick special anniversary getaway…beautifully appointed, owners could not be nicer. Room and open space were very special to hang out and read while enjoying the fireplace. Good location, great morning walks through the neighborhood and to the beach. Grounds are quite interesting I am sure very pretty in the warmer months. Just ONE TIP, be aware of the VERY COSTLY HIDDEN FEES when booking. Kind of blew us away and will probably prevent us from returning. Too bad! (Almost $600 extra for the 2 nights). Not sure what “resort fees” were for. Thanks Rosalind and Michael wishing to visit again

住宿方回覆: Thank you for your wonderful review. To be very clear there are NO COSTLY HIDDEN FEES. All the costs for a stay at the Art House are clearly shown as you go through the booking process, nothing is hidden. The cost of a stay at Art House is commensurate with the other luxury facilities in East Hampton and East Hampton is an expensive resort area. In addition, the service or resort fees cover all the amenities and high levels of maintenance around the property. There are no extra charges when you arrive. We offer ocean beach passes, private bay beach passes, we have an on site pool and hot tub. Even a indoor pool and gym. Beautiful gardens and lounge areas with outdoor fireplace. Free parking, WiFi and so on. If I may quote one reviewer, "My stay at Art House was worth every penny of my hard earned money!" We understand that it is expensive to stay at Art House but that is the level of comfort our guests want and that is what we provide. Rosalind and Michael

It goes without saying that it’s always a fabulous stay at the Art House. Rosalind and Michael are the best hosts and the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming! Their art studios are noteworthy and the made to order breakfast menu is a must. If you’re looking for peace, joy and happiness please visit and enjoy your stay!

My wife and I were making our first trip to the Hamptons and the Art House was a spectacular introduction to the area. Michael and Rosalind were fantastic hosts and Christy, and the staff were wonderful. We always felt completely at home. The house and gardens are beautiful, and the location is great!! We used the beach passes on one of the days and it made it so simple to enjoy the fantastic Main Beach in East Hampton. Couldn't have asked for a nicer vacation and would recommend the Art House for anyone looking for a spectacular vacation.

Such a warm and comfortable place!! Michael and Roslyn are so kind and welcoming, and the staff was wonderful. They cook a fabulous breakfast!! The bed was so comfy and every for we of this room and house were immaculately clean!! Can’t wait to return!!

One of our favorite places anywhere! The house and rooms are amazing. The pool and hot tub are great. The gardens are beautiful. And Rosalind and Michael quickly feel like friends, not just hosts. We've been there three times already, and hope to come back many more times.

The setting and grounds for the Art House are beautiful. The hosts - Michael and Rosalyn - are wonderful and understand what "good service" is all about. This is the third time we have stayed at the Art House, and will definitely visit again. It is always a superior experience.

I agree another reviewer that the atmosphere is rather weird. Rooms were clean. I was promised a heated pool but for some reason the owner didn't know that the pool heater would not work over night??? I paid for and expected 2 mornings of swimming. The owner had assured me that the pool would be heated. Instead, the owner "fixed" the heater system only on the second night which permitted me to swim in a 80 degree pool the morning of my departure. I understand heating a pool is expensive but I was only willing to pay the exorbitant rates because I was getting a decent length lap pool (which incidentally is impossible to come by in the Hamptons). Location is out of the way if you want to enjoy the south shore beaches and get into town for dining. Garden is unique and I appreciated the design. Bikes offered weren't great. I am happy I brought my own road bike.

住宿方回覆: Our apologies for not satisfying all your expectations. Our endless pool is open year round and kept at a 82-84 degrees. The hours of use are 9AM to 9PM. You will find many reviews of very satisfied guests who enjoyed it. Our free bicycles are 21 speed road bikes and have been delightfully ridden by hundreds of our guests. We have had serious bikers who have brought there own equipment as well. Our location is unique away from the bustling village of EH with a private bay beach around the corner and several fine places to dine with Three Mile Harbor water views all within a 15 minute drive. We have parking permits for south shore EH Village beaches. We wish you well in your quest for perfection!

The master spa was luxurious and exactly the vibe we were looking for to celebrate our anniversary. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area and short drive to many great dinner options. We found out stay very comfortable and relaxing.

Very hospitable owners; eclectic surroundings full of wonderful stories from the art world and travel. Accommodations were lovely: from the most comfortable bed to heated bathroom floor and more. We drank our morning coffee in front of a toasty fire and enjoyed conversations with our hosts. Cozy and welcoming stay.

This is not, in any way at all, your typical B&B. Staying here is more of a lifetime experience than just a "nice place to stay.". The house is huge, and it is absolutely beautiful. Rosalind and Michael, wonderful hosts, are well-known established artists who designed and built this amazing mansion and filled it with hundreds of beautiful pieces of their art. If I recall, it's about 13K feet. There are only four guest rooms, at least two have gas fireplaces and beautiful views. The breakfasts were amazing and the folks who work in the house were super nice and accommodating. Really, we will always remember vividly this wonderful experience.

My wife and I have been going to the Art House for a number of years now. It is a "must do" on our list of annual vacations. The locations is great, the setting beautiful, and the hosts are spectacular. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene get away.

Staying at the East Hampton's Art House bed and breakfast is an exceptional and elegant experience. The accommodations are beyond first-rate, with luxurious rooms that feature modern amenities such as premium bedding, a wonderful fireplace, a huge screen TV, and a glorious breakfast with snacks available throughout the day. The heated pool is set within lovely gardens, and the artistry around the house reflects the owners' genius for aesthetics. Wonderful eclectic - B&B grossly understates the elegance and comfort of this unique lodging. The gardens are breathtaking and meticulously curated. The hosts and staff welcoming and congenial. There are few guests at any time - far from the "maddening crowd." A real retreat in a quiet corner of the Springs in Tony E. Hampton. A big plus is the great gym that can open onto the garden and pool. Local Beach access is included. The tastefully stocked pantry for guests with no less than 5 ways of making coffee and an amazing array of teas is a huge convenience. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Expensive, but a great get away and hub from which to explore the Hamptons.

Beautiful home and grounds, very clean property and room. Pool and hot tub a plus. Near a beach and close to East Hampton town. Breakfast had great variety and delicious. A kitchen are with snacks and drinks 24 hours. Generous hosts either lots of information about the area.

Rosalind and Michael have created a truly exceptional experience at the East Hampton Art House. Their hospitality was warm and genuine, making us feel right at home. Christie, a member of the staff, deserves special recognition for her attentiveness and for preparing absolutely delicious breakfasts each morning. The well stocked butlers pantry satisfies any carving you might have any time of day or night. The property itself is a masterpiece. Lush, well-maintained gardens surround the building, offering a sense of serenity with their beautiful landscaping and relaxing water features. We particularly enjoyed walking the grounds in the peaceful atmosphere. The location is perfect for those seeking a quiet escape. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of downtown East Hampton, it still provides easy access to all the local attractions. Overall, our stay at the East Hampton Art House was nothing short of incredible. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and relaxing getaway in the Hamptons.
