Place is located inthe center of Hayward so you are at close proximity to all restaurants, stores. Location is great. As far as clean I cant say it is. I usually inspect all things in the room and as I was looking at a sheet on the bed I saw brownish faint stain. I took off the sheet off the bed and sure enough right on the mattress pad was a big sh*t stain (human feeces). How could a cleaning lady put this on the mattress. Just plain lazy not to take the pad off and wash it. I was so grossed out by the whole Hayward visit. Thank god there was 2 beds. Disgusting. Their breakfast is mediocre but doable. My husband reported the dirty sheets and pad and they comped us for one night stay. Its the only reason I gave it 2 stars. No one should pay $275 a night and find human feeces on your sheets. People are lazy and the workers dont care about your stay. I came up to a cleaning lady while staying there asking for toilet paper and she told me $1. Shes supposed refill that after cleaning the room. Why would I pay $1 its in the services provided for the $ I paid. Everyone that is staying there should check the matress pad and sheets to make sure they are sanitary. Unless things change I really dont see myself staying there.

Checked into a beautifully renovated hotel with gorgeous lake views. Paddle boats and bicycles available to rent, playset, games, fabulous pool. Resort feel for sure! Walk to the amazing Mexican joint next door. Check in late and you're in for a treat if Gwendolyn is at the desk!
