Heritage Hotel 19 was wonderful! This is a small hotel just back a bit and up a very short walking hill from the main waterfront promenade. You walk through a gate and enter the small lobby and receive a very personal greeting. Our room was beautifully decorated with a small deck overlooking the walking street just below. Breakfast was excellent and served with a personal touch. It was a great stay for us and would be an excellent choice for your visit to Split!

The hotel is small but really cute! The street it is on is a pedestrian only street, so there is not a lot of noise from cars. You enter into an open area where they serve breakfast. All the staff was friendly and very kind; always wanting to do the best for the guests. We were impressed by the variety of the breakfast. We expected it to be a buffet-type of breakfast but it was actually a carte menu and we could order whatever we wanted from that. Everything was delicious and they always went above and beyond our expectations. For Easter they even gave us some extra sweetness – super cute! There are a couple of rooms on the ground floor, including ours (room #1). The room itself was quite big and comfortable with a big bed, and a fancy walk-in shower that I still dream about. I felt like it had the perfect balance between classy and modern, old and new. This hotel is perfect for couples. No complaints! Perhaps my only constructive criticism would be that the closet was too small, but it was not a big deal at all.

We loved staying here for a couple of night in April, they had pretty much opened from their break the day we arrived and greeted us with champagne and cake, which was a lovely touch. As the hotel wasn’t full, they also upgraded our room which was nice touch The staff are so friendly and helpful, our room was wonderful, the location of the hotel is perfect, central enough to be close to everything, but also up a little side street so really peaceful too. Breakfast was made fresh for you every morning and was delicious. It’s a perfect small lovely hotel, would go back.

Arrived last minute at 7pm, staff guided us in and provided the pent house suite, room was superb aswell as the staff. Would recommend for a central stay. The lady who checked us in was very helpful, she kindly wrote a list of places to visit that evening. Had a great sleep and was lovely to wake up and open the window to the town atmosphere.

Great stay close to old town What a marvellous stay we've had here. Great location just minutes from old town and harbour front restaurants. Really nice, well fitted, spacious bedrooms and big comfy beds. Bathroom well appointed with great walk in shower. Reception staffed from early morning until late night. Bar well stocked and fair prices. Breakfast cooked to order, fresh, and served with a smile. The staff we encountered were all lovely, friendly, and happy to help. Would definitely stay here again.
