An immaculate hotel in an enviable location with fabulous views. The staff are exceptional and the breakfasts the best I've had in a hotel with a huge choice. Evening meals also nice in a lovely restaurant with breathtaking views. The spa treatments were very reasonably priced. A nice touch to offer complimentary teas, coffees and cakes between 3pm and 5pm each day. There are coffee and tea making facilities in the bedrooms with bottled water replaced every day and a turn down service with a nice touch of leaving a teacake on each pillow. Cannot recommend enough.

We took the self-contained cottage for two nights to tour around the lake. The cottage is way more equipped than we ever needed. The whole cottage albeit wooden, is adequately fitted with heating system, so it was warm and cosy even in the middle of the night during our winter visit. Staffs are warm and welcoming. My wife left behind a jacket when we checked out, and we got a call from their staff just shortly after we left.

I came here for an evening meal on the 2nd January with my partner and son. What a lovely meal was had and such a lovely setting with the Christmas lights outside. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the staff were excellent and we look forward to our next visit.

I can vouch for the cabins, they are wonderful! Two big en suite bedrooms upstairs; kitchen, dining room, living room downstairs. Incredible views of the loch. We were just 100 ft from water’s edge. There was construction in the main hotel, so they moved us here. What a stroke of luck! The cabins seem new and are very clean. They’re like little houses rather than cabins. Service here is great, and so is the spa, which is right inside the hotel. Only 2 things to consider: The pictures make it look like this lodge is very isolated and quiet, but it is right on the main road. Didn’t bother us, but our room was in the loch side. Also, our original room inside the main hotel (before we moved) was smaller than I’d expected from the photos.

Schönes, altes Hotel am See gelegen. Wir hatten einen „Deluxe Lodge Room“ mit Bergblick gebucht. Das Zimmer lag in unmittelbarer Nähe zum stark befahrenen Highway mit Blick in den Hinterhof - von Bergblick konnte nicht die Rede sein. Auf den Bildern der Hotel-Website war dies keineswegs ersichtlich und wir waren daher sehr enttäuscht. Der Lärm und der Geruch der Straße waren so störend, dass wir das Fenster nicht öffnen konnten - die Nacht war schlaflos und nicht erholsam. Das indische Abendessen im Restaurant war okay aber nicht außergewöhnlich, das Frühstück unspektakulär. Alles in allem ein enttäuschender und völlig überteuerter Aufenthalt, so dass wir diese hochpreisige Hotel wirklich nicht empfehlen können.
