I was pleasantly surprised that the rooms were very comfortable a bit dated but clean the food in the restaurant was excellent. I will stay there again, and I will tell my friends that are in the area.

Rooms not cleaned well at all.. we understand it's a Historic Hotel but our rooms carpet was filthy, bathroom was horribly cleaned, I had to goto Save-ons to purchase Lysol wipes to clean bathroom and night stand.

The hotel was nicely updated inside. We got a room with a jetted tub. It was quite a large room, very well kept with a confortable bed. We ate at tue restaurant inside the hotel as well, food was great! Front desk and louge service was great! Would recommend

Staff were excellent. The restaurant had good food with good portions. Located near a grocery store and Tim Horton’s it is in a good location for travellers. Definitely not fancy and the price seemed higher than I’d normally pay for this but it seems demand is high as it seemed to be full with workers.

This is obviously a worker's hotel rather than a tourist hotel. The property has an industrial feel about it. This did not detract from its functionality.
Our room was very clean and quiet, but the hallway carpets had been walked on with some very oily boots!
The restaurant served a very good burger, and the staff were friendly and efficient.
