Loved it in our hometown for the first time didn’t know spartanburg could be so extravagant

Good enough

I made a reservation 6 months in advance and paid for 2 nights up front. I was unable to come the first night but was told my reservation could not be cancelled or changed because I prepaid. Fine, I accepted that I would be paying for 2 nights and only staying 1 night. But, then, the hotel cancelled my second night because I could not check-in for the first night. Insane! This was for my son's college graduation. So disappointed in this and Marriot. I have always been loyal to Marriot, but no more.

Bartender was absolutely amazing! Spent more time hanging at the hotel bar then out on the town! Staff was fantastic! Thanks Taylor for making our trip a blast!

The front desk staff were smiling sweet talking do nothings. The first day we had room service and not again for 5 days. I asked 3 times to get a blanket before one was delivered. We discovered we were leaving the DND sign on till 11:30a. That was ok the 1st day, but not afterwards. The sign was removed at 10:00am still no service. There was no checking on us even when discussed with the staff. I find fault with the front desk not the room service people. They followed up very little. I was able to chase people down or ask the front desk or get a maintenance person to help to get wash clothes and coffee. We have someone in the hospital, so other family had already made reservations with you and experienced the same lack of service at the front desk. No one on duty for several minutes. They had made reservations for queen beds but no room was available except king beds. I'll let them tell their own full story. But let me add as they were checking in a different customer was saying the same things. Get your act together.

Everything was great except the breakfast was way to pricey for what was available on the buffet. Also don’t like buffet food.

The hotel is beautiful. So convenient to the theater down the street. Walking distance and a Krispy Kreme right across the street.

We had an emergency evacuation during the stay. None of the staff were clear about the situation and just left us confused and a bit worried leaving the building for unknown reason.
