Awful food Cold lasagne with past it salad Pal had uncooked burger and as for the scampi the other guys had it looked like a throw back to the 70’s Do not eat here save yourself the cost and disappointment and buy a ready made meal from the supermarket and whack it in the microwave it will be far far better than the rubbish served here

We called at the Red Lion for a few beers and decided to have an evening meal, the bar and restaurant staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Food was very tasty and ample portions, and I would go back. Overall, good value and reasonably priced.

I like the bar in the Red Lion because although it is a hotel, the bar has a genuine “pub” style and ambience. On a quiet Wednesday evening it was most pleasant to sit in the window seat, watching the works go by while drinking ice cold lager and enjoying decent music from the speakers. The service was also very good and we enjoyed our visit.

Absolutely fabulous, superb staff, rooms, food, couldn't fault, will definitely return. Could have happily stayed for longer. Welland room lovely , evening meal very good, at last a decent steak. Busy but not surprising , right on Market Square

Can not recommend the food enough, it was absolutely amazing - me & my friend go out for dinner every 4-6 weeks and will definitely be returning to work our way through the menu! We had the pork chops from the specials, & the best homemade sticky toffee pudding ever. The best food in Spalding, and the friendliest service. Thankyou

My wife and I stopped of here for a hot drink and a breakfast muffin prior to the flower festival starting, and it was a great way to spend half an hour sitting outside watching the World go by. Service was good, considering just how busy the place was with all of the people that were in town for the parade, the food and drink were fine and reasonably priced. We sat outside whilst we ate and drank and it was just a nice half hour pre-parade stopover (we moved on well before the parade started to get a place by the barriers).
