Morningstar Buoy Haus Beach Resort at Frenchman's Reef, Autograph Collection

This booking is a total rip-off from the beginning to end. 1.Make sure you have free cancelation because you will surely use it. 2. Just know that there are extensive hidden fees including paying for paddle boarding, scuba diving, etc whether you use them or not all guest are required to pay at the end amongst other things. 3.Customer Service was horrific from beginning to end starting with long check in wait times without any acknowledgement also don't expect them to initially fill you in on the astronomical fees that they tack on in the end.Also, upon finding out they placed me on a ground level floor facing all the foot traffic opposite of any ocean or scenic views, I was promised a room change the following day which never happened for the duration of my stay. 4. Room service surprisingly came to my room at 8pm inquiring about service which was bizarre. 5.Food is insanely expensive including room servic delivery. I paid almost $50 for a small sized pizza at the low end restaurant.Free Breakfast which was listed upon booking as well as on my receipt was anything but free so be where.They told me upon checkout it is only $80 but there is nowhere stating that information. One hostess at Salt shack told me it would would be a 20minute wait for breakfast or I can try a buffet upstairs but after walking in the hotsun upstairs there was no buffet or restaurant and so the 20 minute wait continued. 6.Overall hiddeen fees were were astronomical.This is a 2star rating at best.i hate that I chose this place for my stay it was a total rip off!

Great resort, location on the water staff very friendly.

Amazing views. There was an $85 a day resort fee that wasn’t disclosed anywhere that we paid upon arrival. That was the only downside.

Our stay was a very good experience only things they could add to would be food options and the speed of the service waited 45min for breakfast at the restaurant not room service.

The view alone is worth it Beautiful ! Perfect location. Staff is (mostly) very pleasant. Check-in, Check-out are very slow. Be prepared to spend a lot of time at the desk

Boutique hotel on the beach The Buoy House is a great newer hotel part of the Westin complex. Boutique feel and part of Autograph collection of hotels. Private beach near lobby a bit rocky, but closer to Westin it is wonderful. Don't miss catching the sunset from the Westin terrace. Food is great, but overpriced ($21 for a glass of House Pino Noir). We will be back.
