This was the most quiet, comfortable, relaxing, clean, hotel I have stayed at in a long time. The only downfall: elevator was out of service and I was on the 4th floor.

Wonderful room. I was a solo traveler who loved the 4 big squishy pillows! I had a small couch and a coffee table. The bathroom had full sized shampoo and conditioner as well as makeup remover towelettes. Mini fridge, keurig and microwave. The location is good, right next to a Lowe's Foods. 10 minutes from Oak Island and 15 to Holden.

It was a quiet, clean property. The breakfast was good (pancakes..a little thin due to automatic machine, sausage patties and links, cereal, cinnamon rolls, fruit, oatmeal, coffee, juice, omlettes, etc)..Grits-Yummy!

My room was on the 4th floor, handicap friendly. The lighting in the bathroom is VERY dim and needs an upgrade. When applying makeup I had to continue to go across the room to the window to see what I was doing. Better lighting would make this room perfect.

Clean, quiet, and well maintained even with road construction so near. Very close to beaches.

The housekeeping staff front desk and every one there was all smiles. They were all very helpful.

Everything was clean, but our room smelled like somebody had been smoking in it. The overall place is looking a little dated and tired. Holiday Inn express needs to update this facility. There’s lots of road construction going on all around the hotel, which made it hard getting in and out of the entrance. The staff was very polite and helpful. Definitely would stay there again.

To be honest the hotel is in of serious UPGRADES. I stayed there for 2wks without a television working. At full price

Friendly front desk staff both check-in and check-out. Our room was fine but it’s almost time to remodel/refresh. The TV did not work but it is not really important to us.
