Travelodge Hotel - Southend on Sea

Ci siamo sempre trovate bene al travel lodge, è la seconda volta che ci troviamo a Southend on Sea. Il travel lodge è molto pulito ed ha lo spazio vitale necessario per starci anche in tre persone comodamente. complimenti a Maria alla reception 5 stelle!

Hotel muy recomendable, limpio y con trabajadores muy competentes y amables. Janet de recepcion nos ayudo con los problemas de los enchufes q no son europeos. Hotel centrico y bien comunicado por tren y bus. Volveremos.

El hotel es muy calido y esta todo muy limpio y Maria de recepcion muy amable y atenta, en todo nos ayudo y nos aconsejo, una persona excepcional. Totalmente recomendable y para volver sin lugar a dudas.

Un hotel fenomenal, la ubicación en el centro de la ciudad. Cuando llegamos María de recepción nos informó de todo y nos aclaró todas las dudas, su atención fue muy profesional y simpática. Gracias María

Although twice as expensive for the room than our previous night at another travelodge and half the room size the location was convenient and it was clean. It's a shame Southend on Sea itself was a let down.

Because of the plane crash at Southend-On-Sea Airport and cancellation of my flight I had to book a night there to avoid London prices. For 61.99 £ quite a budget stay in the center not far from shopping street and pier and check-out until 12 pm but quite loud in the morning from the drills of the nearby building sites. I had a family room with double bed and two single beds by the side. Because the reception is on the second floor you could invite two friends to share the night and price. The main entrance was at the side to the parallel street of the shopping street and not where you see the Travelodge logo. TV in the room and coffee making facilities had two small packets of espresso and teas and breakfast required an extra price. Wifi was given for 30 minutes and required an extra fee. If Travelodge could include an English breakfast service and free Wifi I would give 5 stars also for that price offer even last minute. After having to sleep two nights rough on London I had a great kip for more value than a 2-star-hotel might give. Southend-On-Sea Council should let the Pier open after 6 pm until night as I went there for the sunset and only the funfair remained open.
