Avid Hotel Memphis - Southaven

I stayed at this hotel with my daughter last weekend 7/29. We were really tired when we arrived and went straight to bed. The next morning I realized some major issues and talked to the front office about it. I even sent videos and pictures to the Custodial manager that was on duty. She was very apologetic & so was the lady working the front desk. But when the manager, I think his name was Corey, came out…. HIS ATTITUDE WAS HORRIBLE. As a matter of fact, I didn’t know he was the manager earlier when I saw him walked in, but when I said “Good Morning” he just kept walking. So maybe he was having a bad day.. REGARDLESS, that’s not my fault. He offered to give me some points, but for the issue I had, that just didn’t suffice at all!! He made no efforts to do anything else even after I expressed the fact that I wasn’t pleased. And I said it in a nice way, but I received Nothing but a BAD ATTITUDE in return!! I’m not sharing the video on here, only because the Breakfast Lady was outstanding.. and the front desk worker was a sweetheart….. But that manager was the WORST 👎🏾

Excellent service, stellar sleeping accommodations and the breakfast was awesome. The whole hotel was very clean. The staff were cheerful.

Pillows flatten to the point where they dont exist. AC stays on all night and is loud. Walls are paper thin so if you dont like noisy neighbors. I left getting about two hours of sleep out of five i was laid down. I decidednto continue my trip to california 3:30 in the morning.

Clean and in a convenient locations simple check in and check out process breakfast options quiet and we enjoyed our stay

The hotel was clean and staff friendly. We loved the "healthy" food options for breakfast. We would stay again.

No fluff motel. I want a clean room, a good shower, and a soft bed. Great staff also. I feel that I got all the above. AVID hotels are very modern, not the usual decor you find in most hotels but I liked it. The room also had a 60" TV, are you kidding me! I was traveling with my elderly mother and they changed the room to an ADA-compliant room when I checked in. The only thing I would suggest was to upgrade the floor in the shower. Not enough grip. And it would be nice to have a bar grip on the wall in front of the toilet placed at a 45-degree angle and at arms, length. Old folks have a hard time standing up after sitting down. Other than the two suggestions, it was a great experience and I will use them again.

My family stay was amazing! Very easy check in process. Staff acknowledged you soon as you enter the building. Receptionist had an amazing attitude with a beautiful smile. The room is very clean and comfortable. A great environment to stay in and did I mention great parking.

A great place to stay - clean, quiet and the most friendly and accommodating staff.
