Travelodge by Wyndham Cape Cod Area

It was located perfectly for my stay. Overall good spot my needs.

Thankfully it was off season and not great weather, so it wasn't terribly crowded. Not sure I would've felt terribly safe if there were more people around. They put me in the back of the property and on the first floor. I probably could've asked to move but I wasn't going to be around much. Despite likely being 25% occupied, they put someone in the room above me and the noise traveled right through the floor. Also, a big cobweb in the corner of the ceiling by the window had trapped a few small bugs. I wiped it down with a towel.

As soon as we walked in the room, we were hit by this horrible musty smell like the room hadn’t been used in forever, there were three spiders hanging from the ceiling in the refrigerator. Freezer combination was filthy. If the room was cleaned, the way it supposed to be cleaned. None of that would’ve happened. We stayed one night woke up at 6 AM and left because of the tropical storm when I got home all my clothes stunk like that musty smell.

Staff was great. Room had a nice view. Parking was convenient. Amenities need updating. A few were missing, (eg door sign for maid-dnd). Not enough pillows. 4 day stay no linen change only towels and empty trash

Needed a one night stay to attend a wedding. The location was 5 minutes away, the price was very competitive for Cape Cod and the room was clean with a good bed. Could not ask for more.

There is no elevator and I can't climb stairs. I asked for a first floor room over two weeks before check-in, but was still given a second story room. They had plenty of time to assign a first floor room, even if it meant moving someone else. The hotel is fine otherwise, but that was some super crappy customer service.

I didn’t expect to find a really clean room! I appreciate it so much. Thank you! This is almost the first time I have found such a clean room from this price range. Highly recommended!

Rugs filthy, water spots on ceiling from a leak, outlet not working, coffee pot not working properly, no daily replenishment of coffee, toilet flushes funky (almost overflows before it flushes, extremely tight parking. Hotel in general appears run down.

Location was walking distance to a couple of nice restaurants and was easy to get in and out of by car
