They put me in a room for people with disabilities without me asking for it, where the accessible bathroom was very bad for taking a shower, I went to the reception to inform and request the change, and I was very poorly attended by the receptionist who informed me that to change rooms I would have to pay an extra 180 dollars, absurd, I took a photo to complain, and the customer service at ******* also did not help at all.

I am a very disappointed costumer. I believe Secrets Inn was not honestly advertised. The costumer service was very poor and almost non existent. I will not be returning to this hotel for several reasons. The first reason is there are better priced hotels in the neighborhood. For example Beach Retreat and Lodge offer better rooms for $115 a night. Secrets Inn is not worth over $90 a night. If they are requesting more money than that it is not worth it. The rooms are very small but they advertise photos that make the room appear bigger. My second reason is the cleanliness. Secrets Inn was dirty answer not properly cleaned. There were very old spider webs all over the room. There were dead bugs under the bed area. The bathtub, shower, and toilet areas were decently cleaned. My third reason is the costumer service. The front desk clerk was not very friendly and very short to respond. The clerks were helpful when asking for extra towels. However when confronted about my concerns the clerk made no attempts to remedy the situation. The only option they had was to upgrade the room. I don’t believe I should have to upgrade just to get a clean room. My fourth reason was the advertising. Because yes, this room had a luxury bathtub but the hotel is advertising it as a hot tub. It was the highlight of the room. However, because of the size of the room it made the stay uncomfortable.

We liked that it was walking distance from all the shops and restaurants. The only complaint was that the ac wasn’t working well enough to cool down the room. Mind you, Tahoe was only about in the high 70’s low 80’s. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.
