We paid for their most expensive room to get a lake view, but what we got was a view of someone else’s balcony—not even a glimpse of the water. Definitely not worth the price. The hotel advertises a “free shuttle,” but what they don’t clearly tell you upfront is that you’ll be charged a $79.95 resort fee, which supposedly covers things like access to the pool and bikes—none of which were mentioned until we checked out Also, be sure to explicitly tell them if you don’t have a car. We were charged $30 per day for parking without being asked. Overall, the hospitality at check-in was lovely, but everything else felt overpriced and not transparent. Disappointing.

Id recommend a third floor next time. We were very disappointed in the noise from the room above ours the last two days of our stay. Each and every step and move was amplified and this happened well into 2 am. The bathroom sink was extremely slow to drain, but not a big deal. Gas fireplace was hit or miss on its use. Overall, wonderful stay though. We will be back but will request a 3rd floor unit next time. Great people and service. This was our first trip to Tahoe.

Our stay was good except for an unexpected experience we had. We reserved the Premium King bed room for 3 people as it was advertised as "Sleeps 3". However, when we arrived at the hotel, we were told the room was actually a 2 people room, not 3, but all they can do is to provide a roll-away bed. I explained them that we expect 3 "solid" sleeping accommodation including a king bed as the room advertised for "3" people. They ended up giving us a room with 2 queen beds instead which was not ideal. The problem is that the solution was provided almost as a favor and no issue with the ad was acknowledged. This was an awkward interaction to take place in a 4.5* hotel with our third guest present. I realized that an additional solid bed (sofa type) was not mentioned in ad details but the capacity of 3 was certainly misleading and it was not acknowledged even after ******* agent contacted them. A roll-away bed addition possibility or 3 people sleeping in a king bed should not determine the expected capacity of a room, especially in a high end hotel. I wanted to put the review out so other 3 people groups aren't mislead in the future as I verified that the room is still being advertised as "Sleeps 3"

First off the staff was very friendly. The beach access was nice. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. We didn’t try the pool or hot tub. The restaurant was good but I would say that was are only reason I felt anything was not perfect!

We arrived late and staff were so helpful. Parked our car and brought the luggage up to our room. The only miscommunication is we had asked for an extra bed in the room, when we checked in the person said it was there, but when we got into the room, it wasn’t. But that was taken care of shortly
