索非亞格拉米飯店(Grami Hotel Sofia)

Wij zijn inmiddels vaste tevreden gasten van dit prima hotel . Ruime schone kamers met goede bedden en goed werkende televisie met ook buitenlandse zenders . Mooi uitzicht op de Vitosha bergen , houdt wel het raam gesloten want de weg geeft veel lawaai , ook de verwarming maakt lawaai maar die kan ook uit.... Prima badkamer voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt incl zeep en kleine accesoires , lekkere warme douche . Dichtbij 2 Metrohaltes waardoor je heel snel in het centrum staat , 15 minuten rijden vanaf Sofia Airport . Bij het ontbijt missen we Stoyan die altijd de heerlijkste omelets vers voor ons maakte en altijd gezellig een praatje kwam maken , de pannen staan er nog steeds maar de 2 mannen die dagelijks verveeld achter de bar hangen zijn dat duidelijk niet van plan... Heb ook het idee dat de kwaliteit van het ontbijt wat minder is geworden dan een paar jaar terug , voldoende maar niet meer dan dat.... Wij eten ook graag in de Skybar , heerlijk eten en een erg sympathieke ober die er al wat jaartjes werkt - prachtig uitzicht ! Alle medewerkers van receptie tot de dames van de schoonmaak zijn supervriendelijk en gastvrij , ze geven je een goed gevoel dat je welkom bent ! Door omstandigheden moesten wij ons verblijf al een paar keer verlengen , hier wordt erg flexibel mee omgegaan , ze doen hun best om je te helpen - super ! Bij vroeg vertrek om je vlucht te halen ligt er een heerlijk ontbijtpakket voor je klaar . Dit hotel is een aanrader !!

After researching the area and hotels for a short stay with friends, who live only about 5 mins we booked, and this was our first mistake. We arrived on a holiday which meant there was no staff available, finally, we checked in and told us our room and how to get there. Enquired about food in Sky Bar and as its no holiday its closed. No problem can go elsewhere. ( This holiday was not known by our Bulgarian Friends, so most just apply to hotels). Arrived at the room and omg It was awful like something from the 1970s. Tried to be positive and left with friends to go for dinner. Whilst we were out we remembered that we had left our travel plug so Friends called the hotel to see if one was available bearing in mind this is a 4-star business hotel. Guess what they are locked away without access until the Manager returns at the end of January!!!! As we were staying 4 nights, we spoke to the manager ( Who must have cut his holiday to see us) and advised him of our concerns mainly - Dirty room, dirty sheets, no safe and no tea making facilities as we should have. He just walked off and said the room is best in the Hotel due to a balcony. (The balcony in question was tiny could only stand on it and no chairs or light to use it. We just felt let down and as friends booked decided to just sleep there as there is no customer service at all. As previously stated we stayed for four nights and would not recommend at all. During our stay, the problems we encountered included:- 1) Wrong room being given 2) Lack of Customer Service 3) Dirty Sheets ( 2 people sleeping in a single bed as so dirty) 4) Cleaner coming into the room but towels not changed - no clean towels in four day stay and no signs that the room was cleaned. ( Stain on the floor is still there four days later) 5) Having to take vaulabriets with us as not safe. Now, where do I start with Breakfast? The restaurant looks nice enough but once again Customer service is non-existent. The waiter just takes your room number without even looking up from his phone and then it's up to you to work things out. Hot Food that is freezing, Apple Juice which is hot, and a cold selection that has seen better days. During my time I did say to the waiter that there was hair in the hot food, mouldy lemons on show, and bananas that also looked off despite these issues were never addressed, and after 30 mins problem was still there. Also no toast available. Would, I recommend it only if you want to stay in dirty surroundings, love freezing breakfast and eat food that's like it comes straight out of the freezer. What a pleasant adventure for business travelers who are looking for a four-star hotel, not one that is lacking in even the basic things. However, there was some saving grace the internet is good and the waiter in Skybar was trying to make good of a bad situation by providing glasses that should have already been in the room For the money staying elsewhere there is so much better for the

The hotel was booked by the hosting company for my quick one night stay. I go a very large room, actually it had a 2nd bedroom too, together with a living room and a small kitchen. Clean and friendly service. OK breakfast. Not sure what is around the hotel as I did not have time to explore. Nothing fancy, but surely did the trick.

The hotel is in a good location for the business park. It is close to the metro so easy to get into town. I felt the hotel was fine . Nothing special so I am rating this average. I had a spacious room . Breakfast was fine . The gym was ok. As you can probably gather everything was average.

I have stayed at this hotel 4 times in the last 2 years and everything was great. However this time one arrival to check in I was greeted very abruptly by the receptionist who demanded full payment upfront. Never had this before. The room was tired looking. The breakfast is not great now either. The bar/restaurant was the same as before food and drinks ok. Only one thing was one barman/waiter who had tattoos on his neck kept on demanding payment on ever course of your meal and drinks. Normally pay once you have had your meal. He also served cold coffee every time I had one. They other Barman was great he knows how to treat guests. Overall would I stay here again. Properly not. There are far better hotels in Sofia at a similar price.

Zimmer ok Pizza total ungeniesbar. Ich hatte grossen Hunger, kapitulierte aber und gab 3/4 der Pizza zurück. Frühstück mit trockenem Brot und Brötchen ungeniesbar. Der Rest des Frühstücks war in Ordnung. Personal war freundlich. Pluspunkte an der Rezeption

I booked and payed for a 2 bedroom apartment, but was downgraded to a simple room. No explanation from a very rude reception worker, except that I could not expect to get what I booked. And no discount offered, even if the room I was given was at least 25 euro cheaper than what I had payed. I have stayed at this hotel about 15 times before, and it has always been perfect. I hope next time it will be ok again, otherwise I will find different accomodation in Sofia for the future.

I stayed for one night and decided to treat myself to a Warm Oil Aroma Massage and facial in the hotel’s spa assuming that the treatments in 4 star hotel should be reasonably good. The experience is now officially categorised as the worst spa treatment I have ever had. There was no “warm” or “aroma” element involved. My body was covered into greasy substance, presumably classified as “oil” but I’m not quite sure what that was. The lady was wearing the MEDICAL GLOVES when smothering oil into my body, the act which was apparently classified as the “massage”. Goes without saying that I cancelled facial. The spa room had towels of questionable quality and piles of assortment of medical covers and towels on the massage bed.
