Amazing venue and hospitality! The SPA is really good, the atmosphere and massage quality is great. The garden villas are really lovely for families, with a beautiful view and private pools. More than enough choices in venue restaurant as well with a fast room service too. The room cleanliness could have been slightly better though.

It was a pleasant experience for four of us in two different types of room (which were also very considerate that we stayed next to each other without additional requests). The private pools were the highlight of our stay, not to mention that there is a main pool as well. Staff are very helpful and we managed to borrow three bikes (included in the room rate). Other activities were also provided with advance booking, however not all were available and there was a minimum number of person to be able to run activities. Generally a great stay.

Great services. The room is clean, spacious with complete amenities. Terrace and private pool with great view is relaxing. Spa is amazing, with their handmade oil and salt scrub to replenish your energy. Restaurant's food is delicous and reasonable price. We tried their signature dish of Bebek Ketumbar and Nasi Goreng Kecombrang, both are good.

Stayed here with my family. Had an amazing experience started from the time of booking, the reservation team was very attentive and helpful. Prior to my arrival they did a courtesy to make sure everything is well prepared when I arrive at the hotel. Location is very easy to find and not far from city center although it doesn’t feel like you are in a city at all. Once you enter the resort you feel like in a very calming vibes and a sanctuary place. I arrived and greeted by Ekky and Ervita. Ervita escorted me to the room and showed all the feature in details and even let us enjoy in room afternoon tea during sunset which was incredible nice. Ekky was very helpful while assisting our luggage and took us around for a hotel tour. During the stay, I have requested some items to be delivered and they were promptly provided in a timely manner. I ordered dinner from ghetto restaurant and they were served nicely in the room and the taste of the food was good. I would like to mention some names as their providing memorable service during my stay ad well. Thank you for Lana, Viyo, Zhani, Rachel, Victor and Humam for making our stay memorable. Although I would like to comment about the breakfast. Restaurant ambiance is very nice but unfortunately the overall food was below my expectations. The food options were adequate but the tastes and quality somewhat did not harmonize with the great resort and services. I’m assuming finding the right supplier is also a key for this. but, indeed i enjoyed the breakfast. One last thing is about the Guest Motorcycle parking. We rent motorbike and we had to park in the staff parking so it was a bit of confusion for us as a guest and employee seeing us strolling around in your back area. Overall, I would love to come back if I visit Jogja again in near future. What I enjoy the most is the great service from the staff and that’s all what matters after all. Great product and service! Our recent 5 night stay was wonderful from beginning to end. We received a lovely warm welcome from the very friendly staff upon arrival, and we experienced exceptional service throughout our stay. The architecture and design of the buildings is stunning with a very high degree of finish and the gardens are beautiful. We stayed in a Pool View Villa and the room was amazing. Very generous size, great bed, excellent design of robe area and bathroom and a lovely deck area with private pool and view across to the leafy gardens. We dined in the restaurant numerous times and the meals were all exceptional. The morning buffet breakfast was very generous with a good variety of local and western food options and the chef made perfect omelettes and other dishes upon request. Again, the service from the staff was outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yogya. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Location was fantastic and staff were incredibly friendly. Spa and gym were great additions, and the hotel was very accomodating with any of our requests. The food in the hotel restaurant was very good and the buffet breakfast had great variety. Hotel room was great value and the overall experience was unforgettable. Absolutely recommend to a family, couple or individual looking for a luxury stay in Yogyakarta.

Simply sensational. The hotel accomodation is very comfortable and beautifully designed, set in lovely grounds. All the staff are friendly, welcoming and couldn’t have been more helpful, whether it was looking after us in the hotel, or arranging visits into town or to nearby temples. They made our stay a very happy and relaxing one. We also enjoyed treatments at the spa - again the staff were extremely friendly and looked after us really well. Also must note that the dining is terrific - breakfast is a lovely buffet, and the evening meals delicious. Our whole experience of Garrya Bianti was one of welcome, kindness and generosity — we will definitely be back, this is our new favourite Yogyakarta place to stay!

The hotel itself was ok and the staff were friendly & helpful. But it's a Banyan tree hotel and I would expect it to reach a certain level, and for sure it wasn't cheap hotel. My original booking was river view room and til 2 days before arrival I was just informed there was some defects in the room and they would offer me the sunset room with extra benefit which was spa for 2. Well the cost of "extra benefit of spa for 2" was not even be able to cover the price difference between river view & sunset room so I eventually realized that I was actually down grade for my stay. Moreover there was a huge group stay in the hotel and held a party with very loud music next to the pool til 11 pm (the hotel was supposed to let other customers know before their check in and gave them a chance to choose whether continue or cancel their trip, instead of letting customers being bothered by such group activities), so you may imagine how annoying it was... and because of this, the regular hotel sundown activity was cancelled without prior notice. Yes we just knew it by the time we were in the bar. It was not an expected stay for a $500 room actually.
