布魯塞爾上城區飯店(Uptown Brussels Hotel)

Hotel opened without the announced services. To start with the hotel was hard to find as the name is not visible. Upon arrival at 21:00 I got the information that no food was available. No bar, no restaurant and no room service. Breakfast was the bare essentials definitely not up to the standards of the hotel (again dining area was s not ready) The rooms have very bad acoustics (earplugs are provided) not only do you hear sirens the whole night but also the footsteps of your upper neighbors. The Place Rogier neighborhood is really scary and unsafe for a woman traveling alone. Avoid having to go out in the evening. Sad experience for a brand new hotel

What a wonderful stay. From the moment we entered the reception, we felt something great was awaiting us. Despite our late arrival, we had the impression the receptionist was waiting exactly for us. So nice and welcoming. We were given a room on the 23-rd floor. When we opened the door, we nearly forgot our suitcases in the corridor, as we rushed to admire the breathtaking view we had on the city from the extra large window. As a family, we had 2 spacious connecting rooms. With all the equipment and "features", you kind of get a feeling you are in a futuristic movie. We will definitely be coming back again and again, and I recommend to everyone to live this thrilling experience.

Should start by saying the hotel is quite nice. The room was fine, the bed was very comfortable. But.... When I booked this property it was a Marriott hotel (no longer by the time of my actual stay) and it was advertised with discounted parking at the adjacent Indigo parking lot. That was not honoured. Disappointed the hotel did not deliver the experience advertised.

Uptown Hotel Brussels heeft een onvergetelijk verblijf voor mij mogelijk gemaakt! Vanaf het moment dat ik de lobby binnenliep, werd ik verwelkomd met warmte en professionaliteit. De kamers waren comfortabel en vernieuwend. Het personeel was attent en vriendelijk, altijd bereid om te helpen bij eventuele vragen of verzoeken. Maar wat me echt enthousiast maakt, is het vooruitzicht van mijn terugkeer tijdens de opening van Cardo. Ik ben fan!

Das Hotel befindet sich im Soft Opening, wird angeblich erst offiziell im Juli 2024 eröffnet, darüber wird man aber nirgendwo informiert. In spe ist das sicher ein sehr gutes Hotel. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern und sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr geräumig, sauber und sehr bequeme Betten. Ein sehr schönes und gut ausgestattetes Fitnessstudio im letzte Stock mit toller Aussicht. Sehr zentral gelegen dadurch vieles zu Fuss erreichbar, ansonsten Metrostation direkt vor dem Hotel wo man gut zum Europäischen Parlament oder zum Atomium kommt. Ich hatte ein SKY View Zimmer gebucht. Auf den Fotos wird mit den Zimmern wo das Bett direkt am Fenster steht geworben, ich hatte mich schon so darauf gefreut, allerdings bekam ich dann ein Randzimmer wo der Ausblick nicht so toll war und das Bett stand nicht vorm Fenster sondern quer im Raum. Es handelte sich auch um ein Zimmer mit einer Durchgangstür zu einem Nebenzimmer- Allerdings: Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig und sehr laut obwohl ich im 19ten Stock war. Man hört ständig Sirenen weil in der Nähe ein grosses Krankenhaus ist. Weiters Lärm von Bauarbeiten direkt im Hotel und um das Hotel. Ohne zu übertreiben ging an meinen dreitägigen Aufenthalt zehnmal der Feueralarm los, einmal wurde ich sogar um 00:00 aus dem Schlaf gerissen. Hierfür sollte sich das Hotel was überlegen, entweder mit einem Preisnachlass oder einem gratis Frühstück. Für den Zustand dass man bei Buchung nicht darüber informiert wird. Auf anderen Bewertungsportalen wurde häufig das Thema mit der Klimaanlage und zu heisse Zimmer angesprochen. Dieses Problem dürfte beseitigt sein. In meinem Zimmer war es imme rgut temperiert. Aufgrund der schönen Zimmer und der Ausstattung würde ich das Hotel nochmal buchen aber erst in paar Monaten :-)

I have had the opportunity to stay in a good amount of hotels throughout Europe but the Uptown Brussels was one of the most delightful. The creativity of the rooms was exciting and a fresh new look compared to the modern hotel room. Its prime location made exploring the city a breeze The service was impeccable. Highly recommended. I heard they will be opening the Cardo soon with new outlets and activities, I cant wait to come back and see the difference.
