Price too high for this hotel, small room, food were cold and there was construction outside the balcony!

Nous avons séjourné dans cet établissement entre amis dans le cadre d’un long week-end. L’accueil fut sympathique. Positif : l’établissement est neuf, moderne et les chambres étaient très confortables avec une literie parfaite et une belle décoration. L’autre point positif est le spa qui propose des traitements de qualité avec un staff accueillant, professionnel et agréable. Négatif : Le service était tout simplement inexistant et pas à la hauteur d’un établissement qui se veut de ce standing. Nous avons attendu plus d’1h30 pour que quelqu’un daigne nous apporter le menu, dresse la table et la nettoie. Durant ce laps de temps, nous avons sollicité pas moins de 6 personnes mais on ne vous écoute tout simplement pas. Ici, le client n’existe pas. Vous pouvez vous asseoir des heures durant à la piscine, personne ne viendra vous apporter une serviette ou vous proposer à boire. La nourriture est banale voire indigeste. Nous avons participé à un dîner de gala organisé pour le New Year et nous avons attendu à table presque 2h entre les snacks et les plats principaux qui étaient froids …. Le tout facturé à des tarifs européens…. Lors de notre deuxième petit-déjeuner, nous avons également eu la mauvaise surprise de voir un buffet réduit de plus de la moitié, faute de fréquentation de l’hôtel. Ce n’est pas acceptable pour un établissement pratiquant de tels tarifs. Également, nous avons été particulièrement déçus du Director General à qui nous avons adressé ces commentaires et qui les a simplement ignorés…. Pas un geste, rien. Il a même fini par nous ignorer pour le reste du séjour. Nos amis ont également rencontré plusieurs problèmes lors du check-out alors que tout avait été payé en avance. Tout notre séjour était tourné autour de la négociation pour obtenir quelque chose et c’est extrêmement pénible. C’est vraiment un gâchis pour un si bel endroit. Il faut rapidement former et/ou changer l’équipe car c’est un pur désastre. Nous vivons au Népal et voyageons fréquemment et c’est de loin la pire expérience hôtelière que nous avons eue.

Excellent stay !! I really loved the Spa. All the staffs from spa (Susnita, Rashmi, Petch, Pen, Tippi, Bhawani) were really good. Butler gaurav was very helpful and guided as very well. Even Prakriti and purnima were very warm and helpful. Overall experience was wonderful.

The Experience was great especially the Devrana Wellness spa under Mr Ajoy Biswas. Worth trying. The food at Thaan was great also the Breakfast included in Room Tariff was nice. I sincerely urge that a break in this lovely property is worth trying.

What an amazing, beautiful, relaxing, therapeutic place!! My partner and I spent two nights at Dusit Thani and were absolutely blown away not only by the view (which is incredible - we were lucky enough to have two perfectly clear days to see all of the mountains), but also by the staff. Even before arriving they were so attentive to our needs - I emailed beforehand to arrange airport pickup and spa services (I would recommend that), and everyone was so nice, helpful, and prompt over email. Once we got to the resort we were so warmly welcomed, and to make it all the better we also got double upgraded to one of the best rooms in the place. The room was so tasteful & calming, amazinggg bathroom with a tub that overlooks the mountains, and we even had our own "butler" to take care of us during our stay (Bibek, who was so so great!). The spa was even more calming and we had some of the best massages we've ever had, in addition to a sound bath where my partner said he had an "out of body experience" (so a success I think). The restaurant has a very big & varied menu (Nepalese, Indian, Thai, Continental), and overall we really liked what we had (just a few missteps with the food, like stale bread, but I think that's because occupancy was pretty low when we were there). One thing to note though, your only real option for food (since the resort is pretty isolated) is this restaurant, so be prepared for spending $$ at every meal - for the price of the room, we think the breakfast buffet should have at least been included. Overall, we would highly recommend staying here. It's definitely not "cheap" but for a high-quality resort you really get a lot of bang for your buck (certainly more than you would for a resort in the US). We hope to be back one day!

Dusit Thani Himalaya Resort Has Amazed us beyond our expectations. Resort has Spectacular and Breathtaking views of Himalayas. All the Resort Staff are extremely friendly & helpful, Special thanks to our manager Ms Pooja who made sure we had a memorable stay at the resort. Ms Pooja along with her staff Ms Prithika, Mr Gaurav, Chef Umesh, Mr Manish (reservations) have taken utmost care about us and made sure we felt comfortable through out the stay , they even helped us celebrate our Anniversary. Special thanks to this team for making our trip to Nepal a fabulous and extravagant. looking forward to visit again. Thank you .

The place is absolutely gorgeous and the services are of high quality. Our butler Poornima was very friendly and showed us the Buddhist Monastery with a lot of care. Spa specialists Pauwani and Pen (forgive us if the names are spelt incorrectly) were great too! We loved our time at the resort.

The property is very amazing with panoramic view of surrounding. The location is city escape where refreshing environment will treat you very nicely with mesmerizing never-ending eye-catching view of Himalayan on the northeast side. Due to close by Namobuddha Monastery, it is considered on of the most sacred Buddhist sites in Nepal, where pilgrims come to pay homage to the buddha’s compassion and generosity and these vibes extend the peace and posterity of DTHN Property and guest staying in it. The check-in process was smooth and the staff were very courteous and attentive. They even upgraded me to a suite room with a balcony and a stunning view of the standing tall skyline Himalayan from my bedroom. The room was spacious, modern, and immaculate, with a comfortable king-size bed, a large desk, a sofa, and a coffee machine. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and the TV had many channels to choose from. The bathroom was also very clean and well-stocked with toiletries and towels. The hotel had a fitness center, a spa, and a rooftop pool that I enjoyed using after a long day of work. The breakfast buffet was delicious and varied, with both western and local dishes. I also tried the room service and the restaurant, and both were excellent and reasonably priced. The hotel exceeded my expectations and made my stay very pleasant and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting.

It was a good place with a nice view. Staff was helpful. Food including breakfast was nice. Namobudha was a good nearby hike where one could go in the morning . One of the amazing things to do in nepal Is trails and this was a good easy hike to such a historic enchanting place .
