Siamo stati in questo hotel durante il nostro viaggio in Cornovaglia, struttura pulita ed immersa nel verde. Stradine strette conducono al parcheggio dietro davanti alla struttura, cenare lì è praticamente indispensabile visto che l'hotel dista almeno 20 minuti di macchina dal primo centro abitato, ci siamo trovati bene con un ottimo fish&chips ed una pinta di birra. Prezzi alti però rispetto alla media e ala struttura che è un pò vecchia e trascurata. La colazione del mattino è stata abbondante e ricca.

在埃克塞特住宿一晚 我在埃克塞特期間選擇住在這家酒店，我住過幾家酒店，對於我這次去的周末來說，這家酒店的價格很合理。 我快速地在谷歌地圖上搜尋了一下酒店的具體位置，看起來位置不錯，在合理範圍內，而且靠近市中心。事實是，這些非常小而狹窄的道路對我來說非常困難，我的車多次被刮到底部。如果您駕駛的是「轎車」車輛，我不會推薦這家飯店，因為只能通過鄉間小路到達，而且您最終會像我一樣損壞您的車輛。上山的路上沒有路標，所以請小心駕駛，而且越往“樹林”裡走，網絡就越有限，信號越差……酒店的工作人員非常友好，很快就幫助我，並告訴我房間在哪裡。酒店和庭院本身非常陳舊，我喜歡酒店的外觀和私人城堡的感覺，但它很簡樸，沒有什麼特別之處。 我總是詢問接待處，房間裡是否有一張雙人床，他們說是有的，但進入房間後卻發現顯然沒有。我回去看看是否還有雙人床房可用，但很快就被告知沒有了...所以最後我重新佈置了房間並將兩張床放在一起。床很硬，牆很薄，聽到每個人走過的聲音，而且只有一條走廊可以進出房間。浴室也很老式，給人一種 80/90 年代的感覺...早餐還可以，沒什麼特別的，只有基本的。我沒有待很久，最後在市中心吃了點東西。埃克塞特還有很多其他酒店，我想我下次回來時會住在其他地方。 我給這個總分 2/10

Follow their directions NOT your Satnav, but they need to add them if you are coming from Torquay. Lovely setting & quiet. The executive room on top floor, no lift, was great, really comfortable bed with walk-in shower. Decor uninspiring & needs updating.

Slight problems with checking in due to booking errors however after that we settled into our beautiful room with fantastic views and one of the nicest bathrooms ever, modern and perfectly clean, couple of silly oversights otherwise I would have given full marks, .the staff are so hard working and just so friendly, our evening meal was gorgeous and hot and again breakfast was served pipping hot and very tasty. Highly recommend this hotel however the views come at a cost its a nightmare to find down country lanes but worth the effort.

Second time to the Lord Haldon and this was better than the first. It is a traditional country house hotel, so don't expect a Marriott type set up, just enjoy it for what it is meant to be. Good rooms, spotlessly clean, lounge, restaurant, and bar - all packed inside a large country house in a stunningly beautiful location. It's a car journey through winding single track roads to get there, but well worth it. Good value too for a very relaxing stay.

A beautiful hotel in a stunning location. We had breakfast and evening meals and we were not disappointed . Staff were very friendly and polite. Our room exceeded our expectations and had a lovely view. We will definitely be returning! A lovely break in our busy lives !
