綠色小屋飯店及餐廳(Green Hut Hotel & Restaurant with Unique View Point)

Staff was excellent. She made special vegetarian food for me. Lot of greenery. Room is ok not that great. Too many insects because of bushes and trees all around the property. Gieco running on the floor of the room. Had to go to the front desk every time for service. No phone/TV in the room. No light switch above the bed. Had to go to the front door to turn off lights and walk in the dark to the bed. Not convenient at all.

Those who stay in the Green Hut can enjoy enormous hospitality, tranquility and fantastic clean rooms with air conditioning. Delicious food and it is wonderful to sit on the roof terrace. We did a cooking class together to be able to prepare the curries at home.

What a lovely place to stay! The rooms were wonderful and the hosts really made us feel at home! We also enjoyed a lovely cooking class from our hostess. The food was delicious and we are really happy to be taking those recipes home. The hosts were really accommodating and helpful! And the food was lovely. Great place to stay if you want to visit Sigiriya!

We went to the green house hotel for 2 days. We had an amazing breakfast with fresh fruits from their garden and the owner of the hotel gave us a cooking class where we learned typical Sri Lankan dishes. On our last day the other owner of the hotel brought us in his jeep to dambula for us to take the bus. The hospitality is amazing!! Definitely recommend

What a wonderful place. The staff is absolute angels, they are very hospitable and accommodating, they go above and beyond to ensure everyone enjoys their stay and feels like home. Nice and clean room (we stayed in the Deluxe room) The food is REALLY good if you like the lokal cuisine, you have to try It!! Only minus was a lack of other guests, due to the covid situation😕 More People would make the athmosphere here even better😊

Lovely rooms, very spacious and ultra clean. We stayed an extra night as it was so peaceful and quiet. The hosts were super friendly and spoke good English. Breakfast was served in the cool dining area, take a look at the international graffiti. Every day was slightly different. We had to ask for help finding a doctor and it was sorted in moments, with a tuk tuk arranged. They also helped with taxis, safaris and letting us chose our own rice and curry meals each day. Delicious. Lion Rock is a mere 10 minutes walk and there is a temple within 2 minutes, which is a bit run down, but worth a visit. Tuk tuks are readily available and good value. All can be arranged through the hosts. I wouldn't have a problem recommending this Hotel to anyone. Thank you, it was a highlight.
