Pensjonat Nad Jeziorem Lakeside

We stayed in the 'penthouse' suite and had four wonderful nights here. Fantastic value for money. Yes the decor could be described asa little tired, but what compensates is the warm welcome from Basia, the owner, and the beautiful views over the lake. Also, this hotel is not expensive, but IS clean. We had a different breakfast every day - all very good. The restaurant closes early and some days was closed - but if we missed out, this was our own fault for not checking first - and we were at the end of the season. Thank you Basia, for a lovely stay - we shall be back.

Booked the best suite for a week and on arrival were told that the apartment was booked for another day, not at all happy and was given a small double room overlooking the main road. next day at 5pm allowed to take the apartment. Breakfast with sticky tables was supposed to be English, Joke!! Fried eggs polish hot dog which they give you at football matches in a cold bun, cold sliced tomatoes, sliced processed cheese streaky fried ham, fried mushrooms and cold toast with butter that had seen better days, went to the kitchen where the owner was cooking and smoking and was told she is busy and could I talk with her later. Needless to say we did not eat there again for the rest of our stay. Forgot to mention under the toilet seat in our bathroom had not been cleaned.
