坡德利拉斯特雷加飯店

Bella struttura immersa nel verde delle campagne sienesi in un’atmosfera di quiete e relax. Buona la posizione con Distanza dal parcheggio S.Francesco 4km.L’host si è dimostrata subito cordiale e disponibile. La stanza che ci è stata riservata (lavanda) offriva sullo sfondo la bella Siena(foto) unica pecca la pulizia abbiamo riscontrato un po’ di polvere e le fodere dei cuscini con capelli e sporche (foto). Colazione sia dolce che salata con la proprietaria che ci ha fatto trovare torte bevande e dolci fatti al momento. Una nota positiva la flessibilità dell’orario di ingresso e uscite. Tutto sommato una buona esperienza, consigliato per brevi soggiorni a Siena.

Consiglio questo posto. A 10 min dal centro di Siena un posticino davvero delizioso. Con parcheggio privato. I proprietari di una gentilezza rara. Ho amato il letto super comodo e le coperte soffici, degna di nota la colazione, per me fondamentale! Caffè, cappuccino, succhi e tisane con l’imbarazzo della scelta. Yogurt ottimo, cereali granola pane appena tostato e mini croissant. Frutta fresca e marmellate fatte dalla signora, davvero ottime. Allego qualche foto per mostrarvi anche il panorama degno di nota.

Camera matrimoniale piccola e buia, sporchissima con polvere ovunque e ragnatele in bella vista. Colazione servita in una tavolata a stretto contatto con perfetti sconosciuti, nessun buffet ma bisogna chiedere alla signora per le brioches marmellata e quant'altro. La struttura sarebbe anche bella e in una buona posizione ma la gestione è da incubo...i servizi inesistenti, questo lavoro deve essere fatto per passione non per il puro interesse al guadagno economico. This wonderful hotel is what you would expect on the outskirts of Siena. It has a beautiful rustic feel about the place with lovely decorated rooms with traditional Italian furniture, large beds, and the rooms do have air conditioning. It is a family run hotel and with that you get a warm family feeling from the staff and the owners. There is a swimming pool with more than enough sunbeds and the lawns and garden just make the lay down area relaxing. We had bed and breakfast which was served in a lovely outside shaded area next to the kitchen. The breakfast was mostly home made produce with various meats bread cheese and eggs, more than enough. There is a relaxation area both inside and outside the premises and a communal fridge and cooking area if you fancy making a meal, There is a short cut walk into Siena which will take you about 25 mins, half of the walk is downhill and the other half is mostly up hill until you arrive in the main square. Letitia and her staff could not do enough for us. My Daughter was getting married nearby and they found out the gave us a bottle of Champagne. So kind. I would love to think we could return to this place in the future.

Such a beautiful setting with lovely people running the place as well as those visiting. The breakfast each morning was a treat with hot, cold and sweet options. Our room was very comfortable, bed included. The farmhouse is unique and enjoyable to explore. The views are beautiful.

Such a gorgeous house, beautifully decorated with unique rooms, sitting out areas, outside breakfast area and swimming pool looking over Siena. The hosts are kind and generous, the breakfasts a social affair at a long table outside. With over three generations of family history, and four hundred years of the house history, we felt privileged to stay there. Easy access to Siena - walking or driving. Fabulous.
