城市飯店(The Urban)

De beste locatie in de afgelopen jaren. Ruime, schone kamers in een mooie omgeving. Midden in de stad alsof je in de natuur zit. Dicht bij het centrum en toch stil. , uiterst vriendelijk personeel, goede service. Regelden vervoer voor ons tegen concurrerende prijzen. Ook een erg goed restaurant. Een beperkte kaart, maar alles is uitstekend bereid. En … een beschut zwembad.

We loved staying at the Urban Hotel! The room was comfortable- the beds were perfect! The bathroom was also lovely. A great shower and nicely decorated. But perhaps the best part of our stay was the friendliness of your staff. They were so accommodating to our every need. We got time to enjoy the pool and we loved our breakfast. We will highly recommend this to any fro mds heading to travel to Siem Reap.

Hotel muy agradable y cómodo situado en una zona muy buena para visitar Siem Reap. El personal muy atento y amable. El hotel muy limpio, a buen precio. Los smoothies y la comida del restaurante también están muy bien. Tienen diferentes servicios de transporte, lavandería y excursiones muy eficientes. Totalmente recomendable.

Es excelente.la atención del personal es maravillosa. Estuvieron siempre atentos a todo lo que estuvimos necesitando el hotel es hermoso y limpio. La pileta es muy cómoda. La tensión es espectacular te reciben súper bien con una bebida de bienvenida. Es muy acogedor

Het hotel heeft een zeer goede prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en help waar mogelijk. We hadden de eerste avond een probleem met de airco dat nog dezelfde avond werd hersteld. De bar en het restaurant gedeelte zijn zalig om te zitten. En hoewel het hotel zeer dicht bij het centrum van de stad ligt is het er enorm rustig. Wat we niet wisten, tot bij ons vertrek, is dat het hotel ook een sociaal project is. Ze leiden mensen op in het hotelwezen en ondersteunen zo de werkgelegenheid van een dorp in de buurt. Ook de tea time, die elke namiddag gratis wordt gegeven, wordt gemaakt door mensen uit het dorp. Het hotel zet ook sterk in op duurzaamheid en het verminderen van plastic (al krijg je de was wel terug in een plastic zak). Het hotel heeft de uitstraling van een boutique hotel maar met de faciliteiten die toch eerder terug te vinden zijn in een hostel (de actieve betrokkenheid bij het boeken van tours, etc...). In tegenstelling tot de bar en restaurant spreekt het zwembad gedeelte minder aan. Dit wordt eerder functioneel ingericht en hier ontbreekt wat gezelligheid. Toen wij er waren hing er bovendien een sterke chemische geur in een deel van het zwembad. Het hotel heeft een uitstekende prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding maar aan sommige dingen merk je wel dat het iets minder onderhouden is. Zo ontbreken er tegeltjes in de trap van het zwembad en werd de airco niet regelmatig onderhouden.

Desde el momento en que dejamos nuestro equipaje en el hall de The Urban, sabíamos que iba a ser un hotel estupendo. Nada más llegar, nos brindaron un refresco acompañado de rodajas deliciosas de fruta. Phy nos dio todo lujo de detalles acerca del hotel: el horario de su preciosa piscina, posibilidad de contratar autobuses a otras zonas del país (nosotros lo hemos hecho para desplazarnos a Sihanoukville) e información sobre Siem Reap. La habitación ha sido la mejor en la que hemos estado durante este mes en Vietnam y Camboya. Espaciosa, limpísima y muy bonita. Pudimos disfrutar de algún baño en la piscina y fue una gozada, incluso nos ofrecieron contratar algún tour por los templos con ellos, pero nosotros ya lo habíamos contratado previamente. El último día han tenido el detalle de guardar nuestro equipaje en un cuarto mientras nosotros disfrutábamos del último día de visita a los templos. Y luego nos han dado una habitación donde ducharnos y descansar hasta la salida de autobús cuando ya había pasado nuestra hora de check out. Amabilísimos. Phy ha sido encantador y muy servicial con nosotros en todo momento. Repetiríamos sin dudarlo. Orkum.

Soggiornare all'hotel The Urban a Siem Reap è stata un'esperienza eccezionale sotto ogni aspetto, resa ancora più speciale dal fatto che abbiamo scelto questo meraviglioso luogo per il nostro viaggio di nozze. Fin dall'arrivo, siamo stati accolti con un caloroso benvenuto da parte dello staff amichevole e professionale. La piscina è un'oasi di tranquillità, perfetta per rilassarsi dopo una giornata di visite turistiche. Nel complesso, il nostro soggiorno all'hotel The Urban è stato semplicemente straordinario, e la sorpresa in camera ha reso questo momento ancora più indimenticabile. Non possiamo che consigliarlo vivamente a chiunque cerchi un'oasi di lusso e comfort a Siem Reap!

The friendly and helpful staff made us feel welcome. The pool was a perfect size for swim after a busy day. Mr T was our guide for Angkor Wat.His knowledge was shared and made our visit irate rate. The excitement of staying in Angkor Night market street at The Urban gave us a perfect location and wonderful and relaxing place to stay.

We found the rooms to be, clean, peaceful and spacious. The water pressure was a bit weak at times, but the air conditioning was good. The mattresses seemed to be inconsistent, ie some soft, some not. Lovely pool, but left a bit messy on some days and a bit slippery too. Beautiful downstairs area with a good ambiance. Staff were friendly and attentive. Great location near lots of central Siem Reap locations especially Pub Street. Right nextdoor to the busy night market area and directly across the street from a British bar and cafe (named Rock Around the Clock), where we had a full English breakfast for a change of style. They have excellent British and Cambodian dinners there too.
