Visited for a short weekend gateway, enjoy the property and its calm location. Service is upto the notch. Would highly recommend.

Do' il massimo dei voti per l'incredibile posizione incastonata in una foresta di cedri e dominante le vette pre-himalayane e le verdi vallate e per l'innegabile senso di lusso ed eleganza senza compromessi, per l'eccellente livello di servizio fuori dal comune e la bellezza degli spazi comuni. In effetti questo Oberoi, ricavato dall'ottocentesca residenza di un lord inglese a capo delle truppe britanniche insediate nella vicina Shimla, capitale estiva della British India, è un gioiello ed è stato ristrutturato in maniera encomiabile, sia pur con qualche marginale limitazione. L'albergo, sito a 2500 metri sul livello del mare, offre diverse tipologie di camere e suite. Le più standard sono belle ma non molto grandi e caratterizzati da un bagno che ti aspetteresti più grande e confortevole. Bellissime, come dicevo le sale comuni tra cui il ristorante dove è servita una eccellente colazione oltre a pranzo e cena con menu a la carte decisamente di alto livello. Bellissima la piscina interna su cui troneggiano meravigliosi lampadari e la piccola ma deliziosa vasca idromassaggio all'aperto con con relax affacciata sullo spettacolare scenario naturale. Una pecca, che stride un po' con il contesto e la dimensione di relax che vorrebbe trasmettere, è la rumorosità della piscina interna che in alcune ore del giorno puo' essere frequentata da bambini e puo' apparire leggermente affollata. Ho segnalato questo aspetto all'attentissimo e sempre disponibile General Manager Mr. Sunit che in ogni caso dirige la struttura con grande maestria. Per il resto la location è strepitosa ma occorre tenere presente che i circa 12 km di distanza sino a Shimla possono essere coperti in macchina da un minimo di 30 minuti fino a più di un'ora a seconda delle condizioni di un traffico talvolta fuori dal comune. Comunque questo Oberoi resta una scelta obbligata se si vuol vivere qualche giorno in una dimensione suggestiva e di gran lusso, sicuramente più costosa rispetto agli standard indiani ma assolutamente abbordabile se si pensa a quanto una simile struttura costerebbe nella maggior parte del mondo.

We found our experience at Wildflower Hall quite exceptional. As experienced worldwide travellers we were struck by the sheer consistency of the very high level of hospitality. Particularly noticing that every aspect of the building from the bedrooms to the various public areas had been designed so that everything was easy and accessible, even down to the use of the gym and pool area. Most outstanding however was the consistent nature of the warm and friendly nature of the all of the staff who frequently appeared to be one step ahead of us in anticipating our needs! I have no hesitation in recommending Wildflower Hall to any discerning traveller.

The experience in each and every aspect of our stay was exceptional. All hotel staff from all departments that we interacted with be it restaurant, dining, house keeping, front desk, activities team, Spa & pool team, everyone went above and beyond to make a Gold star experience for us. Truly memorable hospitality. Special thanks for Sunit Makhija Ji, general manager, who took personal effort in making it a great stay for us.

The hospitality is one of the best from all hotels I’ve been to. Wildflower Hall Shimla is an experience you need to have atleast once in your life. Beyond brilliant hospitality and stay. Don’t think twice on this, come stay here. The food and views are extraordinary

Out of the world experience! If you want to experience luxury and be lost in nature, this is the place to be! Oberoi really knows how to pamper you! We stayed here 2 nights, maybe 1 more night would have been perfect. So until next time!

Excellent hospitality, Kudos to whole team, everyone is there to spoil us with their best and all across from Gate to Hikes to Room service to medical emergency. It wasn't easy to smile back while leaving as wanted to stay longer, Perfect hospitality. Wish the whole Wildflower team more success and happiness and Oberoi's for creating such experiences.

the 2 points that stand out - Attention to Detail and Hospitality. Right from our welcome to our departure, Sunit's team took great care of us. the 43 odd sqm room was comfortable enough even with an extra bed for my 7 yr old daughter. the cleaning team tied up our iphone cables - blew me away. The pool is quite nice and plus as it was an indoor pool, the kids could use it - so bring your swimming trunks. the outdoor jacuzzi is for 15 years and older. the breakfast spread and outdoor seating was worth the 4 odd hours drive from Chandigarh. the hotel organizes a variety of activities which entertained the kids. plus they played a movie in the Periwinkle room. The location, the look and feel of the entire property makes it a definite return destination. While we had a car available we hardly ventured out of the hotel. Kudos again to Sunit and his entire team - very polite, caring and made us feel special. Though next time we may either do the flight from Delhi to Shimla airport OR take a helicopter from Chandigarh.

The most magical experience in one of the finest resorts in the world ! The location of the hotel is breathtaking, amidst lush cedar forest and the mountains in the distance The service and warmth of the staff is impeccable , your every wish is met with warmth and a smile. We were truly pampered and would recommend this place to anyone wanting to experience luxury and the beauty of nature ! We will definately visit again !

I had the occasion to take my 80 year old father for a vacation trip to the Wild flower hall this July. This beautiful property is an experience of its own. It's about 10 km away from Shimla in the beautiful rolling hills of Chababra, it's atop a hill with forests all around, a beautiful view point to see the greater Himalayas on a clear day, all of which gave it a fairy tale look. It has multiple activities every day like yoga, forest walks, tambola, history talks etc. A visit to the presidential palace at Mashobara which is just about a kilometre away can be incorporated in the travel plan. Our room was upgraded to a beautiful deluxe suite that gave us an ethereal view of the gardens, which looked lovely amidst the monsoon clouds. We went on a trip to Narkanda amongst narrow trails which were facilitated by the hotel. Overall, it was a very memorable experience.

One of the best resorts in Chharabra, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh! The location offers stunning valley and mountain views, creating a truly serene atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the hospitality was exceptional. Highly recommend this property for a memorable stay

Oberoi Wildflower Hall is sophisticated luxury at its finest. Set in a beautiful location surrounded by trees, the resort stands a clear notch above the rest in multiple ways. The clean, crisp mountain air and the spectacular views — especially from the mountain-facing rooms — make the experience even better. The staff is motivated, warm, and genuinely tries to make your stay perfect. And even if something goes wrong (it happens), they make sure to turn it around with grace and professionalism. The restaurant matches the high standards in both food and service. The food overall is very good, especially the continental dishes. The South Indian options — and maybe a bit more emphasis on local cuisine — could be improved to match the rest. Overall, Wildflower Hall is an exceptional retreat — luxurious, serene, and unforgettable.
