Actually I thought of having dinner with my family on the 25 but when we reach there the staff was very rude as if they are busy the whole year and the buffet also has no item left and has the audacity to offer us. I was a regular customer and I know chef choy very well and I wasn't expecting to be treated like I'm not paying for my food. I will never visit again as compared to Vivanta shillong service was very nice even the manager talk to us very nicely as expected from a 5 star hotel not compared with third class hotel.

We went for a dinner party and food quality was excellent with extraordinary ambience.... Price of food was quite reasonable..The service of Edaka was exemplary.FB manager was really helpful in accomodating best hospitality.memorable day for all of us.

The title of this review stems from the fact that we were upgraded to a suite late at night, for the cottage we had booked was close to open air restaurant where live music was playing too loud at night. Electric buggies are available to ferry you from reception to rooms. Accommodation for drivers is available on first come first served basis. Not guaranteed.

Excellent place for getaways in congested Shillong. Very comfortable rooms, beautiful balcony view ( rm 109) , good food. Also loved the little shop inside the property . One suggestion....have more fresh fruits and fresh juice for breakfast. Chitralekha De Bakshi.
