這枚鑽戒對我具有特殊意義,價值遠超金錢。更讓我憤怒的是酒店事後的消極態度:無誠懇致歉,無主動協商,僅將問題歸咎於監控侷限,彷彿住客安全全靠運氣。

I stayed at this hotel for two nights, arriving the day before yesterday. After the first night, I went out for business the next morning. I specifically hung the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door and left my luggage and valuables inside the room. When I returned that evening, I discovered that a specially designed diamond ring I purchased during a trip abroad was missing. I immediately reported it to the front desk and contacted the police. The hotel only provided partial hallway footage, claiming their surveillance coverage was incomplete and that they had no recording inside the room. What's utterly unacceptable is that the hotel failed to provide any reasonable explanation for why someone entered the room while the “Do Not Disturb” sign was in place. Their handling was perfunctory, the case remains unresolved, and my loss has not been recovered.
The hotel's attitude in handling this matter was deeply disappointing: beyond providing limited footage, they offered no proactive solutions, simply deflecting responsibility by citing "incomplete surveillance" and "difficulty determining liability." As a reputable hotel, ensuring guest property security is a fundamental duty, yet their security measures and management procedures clearly have flaws.
This ring held significant sentimental value to me, worth far more than its monetary cost. What angers me further is the hotel's passive attitude afterward: no sincere apology, no initiative to discuss recourse, merely blaming the limitations of their surveillance system as if guest safety were a matter of luck.
This experience resulted not only in financial and emotional loss but also completely shattered my trust in the hotel's security. A hotel with inadequate surveillance that shifts responsibility after an incident does not deserve any guest's choice. I hope my experience serves as a warning to others and urges the hotel to genuinely prioritize safety and improve its management.
