My husband and I stayed at the proudian hotel for a four-day vacation. Needless to say the customer service was horrible. The hotel is run by young disinterested teenagers who know nothing about customer service. They have absolutely no training. It should have been a red flag when I was hung up on several times when trying to make a reservation. Thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. Should have gone with my instinct.

Beautiful hotel with the cutest rooms. Worst service experience I’ve ever experienced in my life. My husband had a serious allergic reaction after a massage because they used lotion with almond oil and they still charged us the full amount (never asked us about any allergies prior to getting the massage). We had to get up to refill our own water the times we dined there and had to ask three separate times for housekeeping to come before they showed up. If you’re looking for a place that cares about guest experience, this isn’t it.

Whether you're looking to relax by the pool, explore Shelter Island's natural beauty, or simply enjoy a quiet weekend away from the hustle and bustle, The Pridwin is the ideal destination. I can't recommend it enough & can't wait to return!

My wife and I recently stayed at Sunset Beach and decided to give the restaurant at the Pridwin a try. We started off on a high note, enjoying a drink while taking in the stunning view from the Adirondack chairs—truly a great setting. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. The service left much to be desired: the staff seemed unfriendly, lacked menu knowledge, and had poor table-side manners. We felt rushed throughout the meal, and the entire place appeared disorganized. When we asked the manager about the hotel’s history, we received a curt, five-word response. To top it off, our food arrived at the wrong temperature, but we didn’t even bother sending it back. A serious training course seems long overdue.

absolutely incredible property and first class service! amos and elise at front desk could not have made our stay easier and more enjoyable and we've never experienced a hotel GM like Christophe before we checked in on us frequently and who genuinely cares about the guests there having the time of their life!
