What a little gem! Room was spotless, fabulous shower with complimentary toiletries, milk, coffee and tea with biscuits in the rooms and super cosy! Full cooked breakfast in the morning which was superb. Only criticism is the smell (sulphur) of the manifold river when window was opened but that wasn’t the Inn’s fault.

Good welcome in a very warm bar, great atmosphere and good range of drinks and a menu that offered both range and value. The staff were welcoming and friendly and so helpful throughout our visit. Food arrived reasonably quickly and was very fresh and tasty, the steak and ale pie was a real treat ! Worth a visit for good value, wholesome food.

We had a 2 night stay at The Manifold Inn and had a wonderful time. The Inn is in a great location for some lovely walks and with two campsites nearby there were plenty of customers around. The rooms are modern, comfortable and clean and there is a good choice of food. The service from the staff was amazing. There was a terrible storm (they were sweeping across the country) that led to a 90 minute power cut after dark. In the blackness using their mobile phones they set up lots of candles and continued to serve drinks calmly, professionally and in a very friendly manner. Making sandwiches for dinner guests and promising they would fire up the kitchen as soon as the power went on – which they did, offering the full menu. Thank you! We will definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay - the staff were excellent and able to accommodate a last minute change to our booking with no issue. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the bar food was very good (also lovely breakfasts and a chef who knows how to do a poached egg :)). We’d definitely recommend to friends and family.

Plus side first. Lovely place, lovely area, friendly staff, lovely rooms, fantastic breakfast. Spot on. Slight niggles, nothing horrendous. If you over 6 foot tall and stocky (Im 6 foot 6) you will not get in the showers in room 6 or 7, they were designed for smurfs. While breakfast was fantastic the evening meals were not quite as good. Should i have complained?!?!? Maybe so but the problem was down to them being over cooked. No real issue but not as good as it could have been. Sirloin steak had a huge lump of gristle and fat on it, just little issues. Would i go back there??? Yeah, for sure..

Lovely location, friendly and attentive team. The room was nicely decorated, clean and had a very comfy bed. Pub next door was very busy, but you couldn't hear any noise. Hotel guests were given priority when making dinner reservations. Overall a very enjoyable experience.
