The Hotel Amadeus is a somewhat unique, and very interesting, place: the hotel is composed of four separate buildings that have been stitched together to form one, unified hotel. This means that finding one's way around the place can be a challenge, although a fun one and not hard to master. Regardless, it's a fun and interesting place, with the walls decorated with various string instruments and classical music playing throughout.
We were there for four nights and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is situated in old town Seville and is super-convenient to all major attractions. Seville is easy to walk around and easy to absorb (although don't let the old ladies read your palm unless you're prepared to part with 5 EU! - or argue).
Our room was clean and friendly, with a very comfortable bed and an easy climb to the rooftop pool and bar. The hotel attracts small groups and a fairly electic, if a bit older, crowd - I wouldn't recommend this hotel for children. The breakfast spread is very nice, although its more or less "prix fixe" so don't expect to order what you might prefer.
Altogether, we really enjoyed our stay at the Amadeus and would return if we return to Seville.
