Le top, tout simplement. Petit établissement caché au cœur de la campagne ardennaise. Accueil parfait. Chambre très confortable. Petit-déjeuner avec des confitures maison. Très calme, possibilité de dormir fenêtre ouverte pour écouter les bruits de la nuit et les oiseaux le matin. Une vraie belle découverte.

We had a really lovely stay here on our journey from the Alpes to Calais. The house has been beautifully refurbished by Lawrence and Jackson and our room was really comfortable with everything you could need. We paid for dinner which was cooked by Lawrence and was delicious. Breakfast had everything you could want before we continued our journey. The house is about 20 min off the A26 and is close to Reims and Laon and the WW1 battlefield sites of Verdun. This was a superb find and so much better than staying at a chain hotel. Both the owners speak great English and the house is a great location for a stop over or to discover the Ardennes.

What a lovely charming place. The owners/hosts Jatin and Laurence were friendly and very hospitable. We stayed for one night on our way back from the South of France. Their house is an old Priests house which they converted and restored themselves they have done an exceptional job. The room was very comfortable and extremely quiet, clean and spacious. We also had an evening meal there which was exceptional, local food which was cooked perfectly and served in the spacious dining room. The local white sausage was superb along with a cheese starter and a tartin dessert all cooked by Laurence to a very high standard. There is unlimited coffee and a selection of snacks available and really good broadband which came in useful. We are new to this area and Jatin was very informative about the history of the house and the surrounding countryside. It was only two and a half hours to the euro tunnel and we will definitely be looking to stay again with Jatin and Laurence either to discover this new area or travelling on route to the South. We spent 2 nights here whilst visiting nearby Laon for a Classic Car event- what a super find. Jatin is a star and made us very welcome. We had a lovely meal prepared by Laurence in one of the evenings - nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were lovely and it was really interesting looking at the pictures showing how the building looked before they restored it. This will be top of our list of places to stay when we are next in the area.
