Enjoy this relaxing retreat that sits on the rushing stream of Valley Creek that comes from highly-rated Otter Falls. The sound of the water can be heard throughout the house and will lull you into a peaceful sleep every night. Stunning views of Grandfather Mountain from the kitchen window. Soak in the luxurious private hot tub nestled amongst the trees and overlooking the water. Three bedrooms (1 king, 1 full, 2 twins) and two full bathrooms. Gas fireplace. Laundry. Covered back porch. Wifi, 2 flat-screen TV's and DVD player. The area has quiet time of 10p-8a and hot tub use is restricted during that time. The property was more peaceful than I could’ve imagined and the scenery and the creek with multiple small waterfalls was gorgeous!! Beautiful home with a perfect layout for our small group.

Perfect for Hawksnest plans
This was a fantastic property for our family of five, having snowtubing plans at Hawksnest. We enjoyed having access to the creek behind the house, several family-friendly board games in the living room, the use of kitchen appliances and tools, a washer and dryer, and the very comfortable beds. It was just the right space for us to enjoy with close access to great restaurants in Banner Elk. We are looking forward to hopefully staying again!

issues that were frustrating
It was a good stay and nice place overall. But there were some issues that were definitely disappointing with the amount of money that we spent on this rental. The thermostat is out of date and did not work properly, the smoke alarm batteries were bad so that was chirping, the fireplace did not seem to work, and the hot tub was somewhat run down. Additionally, while I was cleaning up from us leaving, I found a prior guest’s underwear underneath one of the kids beds, which made me feel that the cleaning people are not the most thorough.

Awesome stay!
We enjoyed our stay so much!! Loved the location it was close to everything! We really loved the stream in the back and the hot tub was a huge plus after being at the ski resorts all day! The only advise to the owner I would give is the house needs more towels for guest with the hot tub we had to keep washing towels and eventually bought a few so we can have enough but honestly that was very minor for our amazing trip!! We will definitely be back

New Year’s visit
We were very impressed with how clean and prepared the home was. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, plenty of space for our family of 6. The hot tub was clean and the creek in the back was beautiful. The home is in a neighborhood, but it maintains its privacy. The home is ideally located with easy travel into Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, and anything else you’d want to do in the area. Can’t wait to stay again.

Seven devils stay
Property was nice . We were a little disappointed that the pictures show otter falls and they are not there. Only a stream in the back. The fireplace was not working. The owner was very responsive and will
Have it taken care of I’m sure. Overall a good visit .

Great Mountain Getaway
We loved everything about this house. The creek is amazing and the kids had a blast playing it in. The rocking chairs on the porch were perfect! We will definitely stay here again!

Minutes to everything!
The house is wonderful. Open the door to the back porch and sounds of the creek & waterfalls fill the air. We were just about equal distances from Boone & Banner Elk with an easy drive in either direction. Host communication was great! Definitely plan returning to this oasis.
