Es ging mit dem Check in los. Die Empfangsdame bat unsere Guide, die Einteilung der Zelte zu übernehmen. Die Bedienung an der Bar war sehr gelangweilt. Das Abendessen wurde nach 1 Stunde zum Teil serviert. Wir waren 13 Personen,und die letzten hatten nach 1,5 Stunden dann auch endlich ihr Essen. Ich hatte ein Steak, was total mit Fett durchzogen war. Auch das Frühstück wurde heute, nach 45 Minuten serviert.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Sehr schönes gemütliches Camp mit Wasch Häuschen, Grill und genügend Platz! Leider konnten wir keine Tiere sehen, da noch zu viel Wasser im Landesinneren war! Muss ich aber dem Personal hoch anrechnen, sie teilte uns dies von Anfang an! Dafür konnten sich Vogel Liebhaber satt sehen! Pool sehr schön! Alles in allem ein gelungener Aufenthalt!

This was a really nice campsite, each with private ablutions. The only complaint we have is that on the website the pictures of the campsites show them all to be on the rivers edge, however only 3 sites are on the river, and we were not able to get one. This is a great resort for those who love fishing. Nice curio shop onsite. They also have a restaurant and bar.

Zambezi Mubala Camp’s Camping2Go tents follow the usual , well-equipped setup—everything from linen to wine glasses and even a coffee plunger is included. This camp also features mosquito nets around the bed and a more compact outdoor L-shaped kitchen/dining area. The tents are closer together here, more like a traditional campground, but the trade-off is the convenience—just steps from the pool, restaurant and riverside bar, no driving required. The bar is a great spot to catch the breeze and enjoy sunset views over the Zambezi river. Make the most of the location and book a sunset, fishing or bird-watching boat trip. A heads-up: curious monkeys tend to roam through in the afternoons and aren’t shy about climbing onto the fridge or opening the rubbish bin, so be sure to pack food away securely

Our group stayed for one night only in the pre erected tents. This is truly a beautiful setting in serene surroundings. Friendly and accommodating staff. The tents offer all you need for a self catering stay. The tents were clean, with enough warm water. The bedding and towels are in need of replacing. I fully understand that Covid and the lack of tourists are the main reason for this. It was not great to see worn-out towels and linen to the degree were you felt uncomfortable using it. This was our only gripe. It feels as if you are staying in a massive garden in the middle of nature. If it was not for the surrounds, I would have to give a lower rating.

Our family had a wonderful time here! While my son in law was out tiger fishing on the Zambezi, my daughter, granddaughters & I enjoyed a sun downer boat cruise one afternoon, birding around the pool another, and on a third day we went on a 3 hour birding cruise. All activities were arranged by the lodge, as well as airport transfers. The guides were fantastic. The manageress couldn't have been more helpful! The tents were clean and comfortable. The food was good, although the lunch/dinner menu is a bit limited.
