I’m been to many places in The Gambia but this happened to be my favourite hotel for so many reasons, there only one thing missing but I’ll get to this later. Firstly I’ve stayed in many places in The Gambia over the years as my wife from The Gambia. From Seaview Gardens Hotel,Balafon Beach Resort to kololi Beach Resort lemon Creek hotel to Coco Ocean Resort and spa with is very beautiful and very elegant, But Kasumai Beach Resort had more of a vibe about it, my room was the family suite, partial ocean view everything about this room was perfect, from the bathroom I’ve traveled to many different countries around the world but this bathroom stood out, from the spacious shower I just loved the design very elegant the whole bathroom was it put many rooms the shame in American and the Uk, who ever design this room was 100% thinking about there guests the design was very modern. The room was so comfortable I didn’t want to leave it wish I booked this place first before the other three hotels I booked before. This was my wedding anniversary week. The balcony was a bit small though didn’t feel to comfortable out there. I loved the television facing the bed, would be nice if the was another television so you could watch the Tv from the sofa and while cooking but everything else was perfect. The room was designed like a studio flat. I also loved the Negative artwork amazing felt like I was in an African artwork studio I took many pictures. The beach area simply had the best vibes good music and atmosphere. I prefer it to Kotu Beach on Palma Rima Road, breakfast was good also, the only thing I wish this hotel took card, and there was more shops around and a cash point machine as I had to go all the way to Senegambia when I wanted money. But this will definitely be my first stop next time I’m back in The Gambia.

I am a juicer man in the beach area i have natural fresh fruit juice and lots of people come to the beach to have the natural flavors and I love to good job at Kasumai beach we work with them every time

12 room hotel on the beach 24/7 security so very safe Supermarket five minute walk away Excellent steakhouse 50 metres away The Senegambia ***** is a five minute ( 300 dalasi ) taxi ride Room 11 the Panoramic sea view room is exceptional - see photos Breakfast was fine with plenty of choice - just ask if you want anything not on show All the staff from the cleaners to the pool boys were very good and polite Hadi did great massages Pa had the restaurant well organised with tasty food served on time But the star of the show was Lamin in reception who did everything possible to make sure we enjoyed our vacation - promotion to manager cannot be long in coming !! Worth a visit

My sister, myself and my son, spent two weeks in the Kasumai Beach Resort in November 2024. We have been blessed to travel extensively around the world. This particular trip to Gambia was exceptional. The hotel certainly added to this experience being so amazing. The manager Amadou leads the way in how professional the staff are, and this was evident in all areas of the hotel. Food was of a high standard, delicious breakfast each morning and everyone was happy and smiling. The guys that managed the pool area and ensured that all holiday makers enjoyed their time relaxing, nothing was too much trouble and again always with a smile and positive vibes. We experienced many trips with Musa who works in the hotel, and I would highly recommend him for excursions. They were interesting, smooth and not as costly as some large corporate operations. Ousman who manages the area outside and the beach is an absolute gem and ensures that guests are kept safe and happy. Never have we experienced a Hotel where EVERONE is genuinely happy and kind! If you are thinking of booking this hotel then do, it really did make our holiday experience exceptional. We will certainly be back next year with more of our family.!
