heel degelijk hotel , rustig , heel goede service , vriendelijk personeel , swim up kamers zijn heerlijk , zwembad aan je kamer met bijbehorende ligbedden. 2de keer dat we hier waren en gaan zeker nog terug; Ze doen er hier alles aan om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken.

We arrived home yesterday after a two week holiday over Christmas. What a s**t show. For starters breakfast nothing hot. Or should I say should have been hot and was stone cold due to the lack of heating serving dishes for breakfast. The room we were in 702 was extremely damp and mouldy walls and ceiling blown. Not what you should expect from an all singing all dancing 4 star "luxury" hotel superior rooms. Swim up pool yes but sunshine never hit our pool or our balcony which was never cleaned properly Gambian red dust back in our rooms due to lack of mopping.... Xmas eve gala dinner the band was brilliant the nighting gales amazing... food was very late Cold and lacking in meat after queing for 30 mins. We paid extra for xmas eve and new years eve. In gambian money it worked out very expensive would not do again. New years eve.... food again very very late and even worse than Xmas eve... then the famous rapper and his band stared... and it got worse still.... for a multicultural resort and event was not good at all. Was told it would be finished at midnight when the fireworks went off, much to our disappointment then anger the booming noise continued for a further hour until residents from the hotel from all over the world including myself complained enough to finally get it switched off.. Bearing in mind the GM walked passed us all not even willing to make eye contact with us... no real care for his residents at all... the staff were friendly although waiter service to the beach was not there until the cruise ship came in and they were running like ants.... Would not go back to this hotel book at your perial.. we have been to many different hotels in the gambia over the past 10 years and this was the worst by far. Will never ever return. Good location though. Our cleaner had told us the vest blocks are 1, 2 and 3 sof if u have booked here ask for a room in these block before hand
