庫魯蘇克飯店(Hotel Kulusuk)

Considering very limited resourses in East Greenland, this hotel offers arrangement of tours and transportation around the island and to and from the airport with great efficiency. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all available and the quality of food was very delicate and fresh. I would never expected fresh French bakery style croissants for breakfast in Kulusuk - a small island in the middle of nowhere. Special thanks to Jacob, who took care of all the arrangements.

Hotel has the most stunning view! It is warm and has a great selection of interesting artefacts for decoration Jakob is a great host, dinner is substantial and good quality Room was clean and warm

Eigentlich hatten wir im Red House in Tasiilaq reserviert, aber das Boot das uns abholen sollte, vergaß uns schlicht. Der wahnsinnig nette Betreiber des Hotels Kulusuk bot kurzfristig und selbstlos Hilfe an. Er organisierte den Transfer, gab uns ein großes Glas Rotwein und Bier - alles kostenfrei - und fuhr dann, nachdem er die Batterie wechselte, uns auch noch zum Boot.

Jakob met us at the airport and took great care of us throughout our first day in greenland. He arranged a dog sledding tour and we had a great dinner. We felt comfortable there and the landscape is stunning.

After our flights landed late Jakob looked after us very well ensuring we had dinner 2hrs after the kitchen officially closed.

Dont like the manager Jacob (rude with custommers but very professionel) . Not clean. Room too hot 25 degres. Too bad, because it's Nice hôtel. But Nice experience😂

If you find yourself at the end of the earth, you might be at Hotel Kulusuk! This hotel is definitely in a VERY remote place, however Jacob and the team here are fantastic! I was here on a Heliski trip and I can confidently say it was a 'bucket list' trip... once in a lifetime!

Good hotel near the airport. Room was nicely done, though the walls are quite porous and you can hear your neighbours. Meals were good. A friend used the sauna which looked pretty cool. Shower drain had a strange smell coming from it. Friendly staff.

I was in Kulusuk two weeks ago on a backpacking trip. My plan was to sleep under the sky in a sleeping bag. When I arrived, airport officials advised me to leave my luggage at the Kulusuk hotel. While walking towards the hotel with a 23 KG bag and three small camera + drone bags, someone stopped his van next to me. It was Jacob, who loaded my luggage into the van and dropped me off at the hotel. There, I realized he was the chief staff at the hotel. Despite not being his customer, he still took the best care of me in Kulusuk. He ensured that I was carrying a rifle and bear spray to protect myself from polar bears. He also made sure I slept in a safe place and had a good breakfast at the hotel. More than the town itself, which is definitely worth visiting, I will remember Jacob and his genuine care for every guest who comes to Kulusuk. I did tip him, but I don't think it was enough by Greenland standards. I have carried that guilt with me for the past two weeks. He requested that I drop it in the donation box for the school kids.
