塞拉菲諾邁拉倫谷飯店(Serafino McLaren Vale)

Enjoyable stay, good location.

Received message recommending booking for dinner only to arrive and discover that there is no dinner on Sunday. No bar, nothing. And, there were power issues that caused the smoke alarm and phone to reset several times at 1am to 2am = nice. This is a great place that is in serious need of investment to bring it in line with modern accommodation.

This is a very nice hotel, winery, facility. Quiet, beautifully kept and appointed. Part of a winery with a restaurant on the grounds. All and all it greatly exceed my expectations and I would return here.

We wanted wheelchair accessible and got one out three nights. Not every room had a microwave, not every room had extra blankets. Crap office hours .On the plus side the head man at reception was very nice

The picture is exactly what you find. Rooms are very big and comfortable. There is a back door to your car park outside your room and a front door to a veranda with a table and chairs so that you can sit and enjoy the gum trees and lawns. We ate our dinner out here. It was perfect. The only "complaint" I would have is that the shower is over the bath. Hoping there are rooms for the elderly that have separate showers. I have just had knee surgery but managed to get in and out luckily. Serafino's is close to the centre of McLaren Vale yet it feels like there is no-one around you. There is a large lake with friendly geese but unfortunately there are hundreds of white cockatoos. They are ruining the landscape but are being brought under control. They do their best to denude the trees but luckily this hasn't happened. I expected to be woken up by their dawn screeching but the rooms are solid brick and we didn't hear a thing. Funnily enough, they suit the landscape as their whiteness looks beautiful in the green trees. Would definitely return.

Room was clean and everything in the room including bathroom was neatly arranged. Bed comfortable. The surrounding was perfect for leisure photography and the environment was calm enough for a good chill out.

Any property that only serves lunch and dinner on Fridays and Saturdays does not deserve success ! . There is no proper breakfast or room service ! There is so much potential in this lovely property which is almost completely wasted - such a shame !

Resort was in a central location. Staff were great from the minute we arrived, very attentive. Swimming pool was never too busy and gated. Could do with more furniture for guests. Rooms were clean but dated. Would I stay there again - definitely!

The staff at Serafino were excellent. They were able to quickly resolve our booking issue, manage our request for a microwave, provided some helpful tips on where to eat locally and so on.
