My stay at Rosendal Fjordhotell was truly enchanting. The star of the show, aside from the impeccable service, was the absolutely breathtaking view. Gazing out at the serene fjord surrounded by nature's grandeur was a dream come true. The staff, especially the charming waiter from Iceland, made this experience unforgettable. Their attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction were top-notch. The comfortable accommodations and delicious cuisine were the perfect complements to the magnificent scenery. I can't wait to return to Rosendal Fjordhotell for another dose of tranquility and beauty

Great view with new addition to restaurant. The food quality disappointing and our items very slow coming out of the kitchen. I felt sorry for one server trying to serve customers. With the funds spent on upgrades to the dining area, it is a shame better attention not paid to menu item quality and service. I have been there many summers in previous year and this was the most disappointing experience. I was with two locals from Rosendal and we all felt the same.

This is a very average hotel and only necessary because of the proximity to Salmon Eye and Iris dinner which typically wraps up around midnight... To expect more than a motel experience is a lot, but we booked room with the view which gave us full-on Fjord view. It is an old structure overall, carpeted in the last century style. Similar to other hotels in touristy pots, there are limited amenities such as towel, and don't expect shampoo and other comfortable stuff that $250 a night should get you. But it is a room with a view and we were awake in total a few hours because of the very lengthy dinner aboard Salmon Eye. Breakfast was actually the skimmest of the six lodgings sling this Norway trip. There is no coffee maker nor tea makers in the room. We are happy to head back to the comfort of Oslo...

We stayed in two Double or Twin Room with Fjord View rooms, one with a bath, the other with a shower. The rooms were on the second floor, and since the elevator wasn't working we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. Besides that, the hotel was great. It's located on the shore of a beautiful fjord, the rooms were very quiet, and breakfast was very good. Grocery stores are a few minutes drive away.

A business trip too an hotel from years back. They have successful taken care of it and all the lovely Staff there welcomes u with a BIG smile on their faces 🤗🤗 A good atmosphere and energy there🙂🙂 The food at night and Also the breakfast was very good 😉

We had high expectations for this hotel, since usually the hotels in the Norwegian Fjords are often run very well and with a high standard Must say we ended up being disappointed by all the small things that was there Bathroom very small (but OK standard), but no place to put your toiletries, no shampoo and balsam Bed was two beds put together, not what you want on a romantic trip Breakfast was like an average budget hotel standard, not what we expected her Location was fantastic, so that part was absolutely great
