坎巴庫海洋飯店(Kambaku @ Sea)

Dit B&B benadert perfectie. Een zandweg van een paar kilometer bergopwaarts - uitstekend te doen - brengt je bij dit pareltje. Alles is met oog voor detail, geregeld. Eén persoonlijk welkom en een plezierige ontvangst maken dat je je direct thuis voelt. Tristyn, Vespa en hun team zijn sympathiek, vriendelijk en erg behulpzaam. De inrichting is heel erg mooi. Vraag ook naar de manier waarop Tristyn er terecht is gekomen. De kamer, wij hadden nr 3, is groot, mooi en netjes. Een heerlijk, groot en stevig bed. De koelkast is gevuld. De badkamer is prachtig. Het uitzicht is meer dan adembenemend. Ontbijten is een ervaring op zich. Je wordt bediend met vers fruit, toast, yoghurt met muesli, ham, kaas, jam etc. En dan is de keuze daarna uit een Engels ontbijt of de keuze van de dag. Wij besloten om 2 avonden daar te eten. Wat de pot schaft, maar……. meer dan overheerlijk!! Gecombineerd met heerlijke wijnen en een prachtig uitzicht maakt je avond onvergetelijk. Wat een geweldige aanrader.

Spectacular views and a feeling of exclusivity. Rooms are very well equipped and staff all go out of their way to make the whole experience special. Breakfast was lovely too, as was the special river cruise which allowed us to explore the lagoon privately for over 1.5 hours. Highly recommended.

We lived in absolute luxury. Our room was like out of a movie, the views, magical, the food, michellin star quality, the service, out of this world. The staff went out of their way to make our experience extra special as we were celebrating our honeymoon. I cried when I saw this place. They make you feel more than at home and goes above and beyond. We got to explore this beauty for 2 days. Greeted with welcome drinks, in our room we received a personalised welcome letter and champagne. We haven't had something to eat and Tristjan made us a beautiful platter of food to snack on. We got a 3 course meal, set up beautifully in our room. The next morning I was surprised with amazing breakfast on our deck. With each meal we received, which we could choose what we would like, Tristjan made us a customised menu, everything about this place is special and magical in so many ways. if I could give Kambaku at Sea a 10000000 I would. Definitely visiting soon and thank you Kambaku team, we were mind blown!

We arrived at the property 16 minutes early after driving for three hours. The gate of the property was closed. I rang the bell and it was picked up by a lady who immediately advised me that we could not enter as check in was only from 1400. She told me to come back later! We sat in the car for 16 minutes until the gate opened. In all my years of travel this was the worst experience. We could have been brought into the property and we could have completed our registration form and we would have been happy to wait until the rooms were ready. This was a very poor reflection of South African Hospitality and my friend Germany was in complete shock

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. We were very surprised at how luxurious the place is and the views are really out of this world. The room was spacious, neat and lots of attention to detail. The breakfast was the cherry on the top and was top class.

Amazing dining experience to be had here with spectacular views and fish eagles calling in the distance. Amazing rooms and luxury and the most friendly staff ever. My second visit here and even my wife’s birthday with special gifts and Champagne all added complimentary.

Spectacular views and incredibly attentive and friendly staff. Breakfast was really generous and well prepared. Literally 5 mins from town center yet you feel like you are miles away and totally isolated from everything. Will definitely return

A long steep ride up the hill to paradise. The rooms are very good with comfortable beds. The breakfast was the best out of the nine places we stayed in South Africa. Dinner was a feast so beautifully cooked. The views were unbelievably breathtaking. It is 90 steps down to the pool and so secluded. When it rains you can be in the cloud. Absolutely stunning.

Several notches above the rest and worth every cent. The view, the beds, the rooms, the food, the personal touches, I can go on and on. No crowds!!! Just serenity and excellent service. Than you Tristyn for a great experience. I will most definitely be back.
