"Welcome to Wonderland", so wurde ich begrüßt als ich die Utopia Lodge betrat und genau dieses Wonderland fand ich dort. Ich habe 6 Nächte in dieser wunderbaren Unterkunft verbracht und wäre am liebsten noch so viel länger geblieben. Mein Zimmer, die Palm Suite, hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Ökobewusst konsturiert, geräumig und sehr luftig, dazu ein herrliches Open Air Bade"zimmer" und eine tolle Terrasse mit einem malerischen Blick ins Grüne und auf das Meer Es ist so beruhigend die Landschaft von der Terrasse aus zu beobachten und Yoga zu machen. Hier konnte ich so richtig Energie tanken und mich erholen. Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön konsturiert, der tolle und bunt blühende Garten, der Pool, der gemütliche Essbereich mit Aussicht.. ich kann das Gefühl gar nicht in Worte fassen, das einem durchströmt, wenn man die Zeit dort genießt Das Erlebnis in der Utopia Lodge ist persönlich und herzlich. Aimone und seine Mitarbeitenden sind sehr freundlich und vermitteln einem direkt ein Gefühl von Ankommen und Erholung. Dankeschön! Auch das Essen dort ist sehr lecker, gesund und abwechslungsreich. Nembrala und die malerischen Strände sind nur eine kurze Scooterfahrt entfernt. Ich werde bei meinem nächsten Besuch auf Rote auf jeden Fall wieder in die Utopia Lodge gehen und kann diese Unterkunft nur von Herzen empfehlen!

I had a horrible experience at Utopia. The short story is that my experience with Eamon (co-owner) was horrible - the guy was unprofessional, aggressive and rude. I have since heard he finds it hard to manage this behavior. It impacted my experience with Utopia and hence I am going out of my way to write a review. He does a disservice to his Indonesian business partners. I do not recommend

Posizione perfetta per godersi Nembrala, 5 minuti di motorino dalla spiaggia, ma essendo sulla collina oltre al panorama ci si gode la brezza che in questo periodo soffia costante e non c’è bisogno dell’aria condizionata. Ci si può godere la vera atmosfera dell’Indonesia. Il cibo è superiore a qualsiasi altro resort , poche cose ma buonissime , il proprietario è di origini italiane e ha fuso la cucina indonesiana con quella italiana con una passione per le materie prime incredibile.

Hotel bellissimo, perfetta esperienza per riconnettersi con la natura. Il cibo è stato ottimo. Aimone, il proprietario, è super disponibile e gentile, le escursioni da lui proposte sono state fantastiche, da fare sicuramente. Non vedo l’ora di tornare perché non ho mai visto un posto così bello in tutta la mia vita.

Aimone, the owner , has studied Utopia Lodge in every individual detail in order to make the guest feeling like in a pristine and natural paradise enhancing your Rote experience. Peaceful silently place to stay!unique rooms made with local and sustainable materials. We were there with our 2 little kids and the staff was really nice and helpful ! It is a place save for kids and good for families! Quality food. Every day changing menu dipent of the harvest! Utopia is special! They have their own garden to grow lots of veggies ! And the view is breathtaking! So if you wanna stay out of the crowd and be in contact with nature Utopia is the place!

Utopia Eco Lodge is more than a stay—it’s a pause, a breath, a reset. From our cliff-top perch, the world stretched out in blues and greens: the beach meeting the forest, sky kissing the horizon. No other place we visited came close. It was a gift for my husband, a quiet renewal. And Aimone, with his open heart, made us feel not like guests, but like family coming home. Even the sawdust-scattered toilet had its poetry. Here, every view, every moment felt like it belonged only to us.

WOW... Pictures and words aren't enough to capture the absolute heaven of Utopia. We knew it was going to be beautiful, but were just absolutely blown away upon arrival. Every room has its own unique features with the comfort (and romance) of a queen bed with a view. The bathrooms are a journey in themselves with every detail carefully thought out to create a eco-conscious experience. Then the food... every plate that is put in front of you is created in the most beautiful way and so tasty, the best food we had ever had. We had dinners by candlelight almost every night, with the fire going, honestly it was magic. A truly rustic and natural experience, you feel like you are in the jungle but just a quick ride to the beach. I cant stop talking about the incredible experience we had at Utopia, if you are after somewhere to stay in Rote you must stay here. Aimone will help you with everything you need, what he has created is true magic on a mountain!

Getting out to one of the most beautiful island getaways was incredible and to be staying at Utopia was fantastic. From the hospitable staff and yummy food, to the elevated jungle setting the Lodging was fantastic. The pool area was great for the kids as it brought everyone together. Be ready to drive the bike to the beach, as it was a bit inland, but that also gave it an incredible experience of being in the forest. Can't wait to go back to Rote and do some more exploring
