海濱旅館

Quick and easy check in, small parking lot but there were a decent amount of spots. The room was comfortable and walking distance to several restaurants and grocery stores.

We have stayed at the Seaside Inn a few times in the past, but a couple of incidents this last time bumped it off the list of places we will spend money for. The first incident occured at midnight out first night when a stranger walked into our room. The motel had given him a keycard to our room. This could have ended far worse than it did as I am prone to vigerously protecting my family. When my keycard did not work in the morning I woke the manager who did not seem to care about this late night incident and just gave me a new key card. Later that day they called me as they had no idea which room they had me registered in.Even though this was the third time I reinterated our room and asked they log it. The second incident was at 9:30 am on the day we were to check out. (checkout is 11am). We left for a beach event at 7am and put a do not disturb sign on the door. When we returned to at 9:30am to quickly shower and check out our door was open the beds were stripped and the towels were gone. We collected our belongings (which should have given the maid service the idea we were coming back) again we had an hour and a half before the 11am checkout. No shower, room stripped before we even checked out, strangers with keycards walking in while we sleep. Yes not near what one would expect. Sorry to say the Seaside inn is off our list.

Wir haben zwei Tage die Gegend von Monterey angeschaut und haben das Motel gebucht, da dieses das günstigste in der Gegend war. Es war sauberer aber alles schon älter. Die Lage war auch nicht so schön, mitten im Industriegebiet und viele laute Autos. Personal war freundlich aber der Kaffee auf unserem Zimmer wurde nicht aufgefüllt. Wir würden dieses Motel nicht mehr buchen.

Absolut in Ordnung für 1-2 Nächte Für 1-2 Nächte ist es wirklich ok, man ist ja meist nur zum Schlafen da. Sauber, mit bequemen Betten und mit Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle. Die Terrasse ist allerdings eine ummauerte Betonwüste. Nachts war die Straße ruhig. Wir würden wiederkommen.
