Our return to Captain Nickels Inn, four years after our honeymoon, reaffirmed its timeless charm and exceptional service. Nestled by the water, the inn has only grown more beautiful, offering a tranquil retreat with stunning surroundings. The service was impeccable, ensuring a seamless and relaxing stay from start to finish. We loved unwinding by the water and enjoying the picturesque views, which provided a perfect backdrop for relaxation and reflection. The breakfasts were outstanding, setting a delicious tone each morning. Dawn's guide to Maine's coastal highlights was invaluable, revealing hidden gems that rival even Acadia National Park in beauty. Overall, Captain Nickels Inn provided an unforgettable experience with top-notch service. We eagerly anticipate our next visit to this cherished retreat.

The entire Inn is just beautiful ! It is well maintained and keeps the historic feel of days gone by. Beautiful artwork throughout the inn. Rooms were all lovely, we got to see some that were not occupied. Comfort and cleanliness was perfect and the daily breakfast top notch., as well as the friendly service. It was a total washout all weekend but there are plenty of seating on the large porch. Very enjoyable stay.

Captain Nickels Inn was beautiful. The welcoming texts leading up to our stay were great! The bedroom (we were in the Harriet room) was very comfortable and cozy- we slept so well here. Everything was clean and staff and other guests all friendly. The breakfasts were amazing (strawberry griddle cakes and breakfast tacos while we were there) A lovely place to stay while in the area!

This inn is gorgeous! From the beautiful historic details restored with skill and kept with care to the luxurious linens and homemade breakfasts you will be impressed with every bit! The location is peaceful. Its oversized side porch, balconies and decks overlook a sweeping lawn down to the ocean. The Inn is within a small town but just a quick drive to Belfast and can’t miss sites. Perhaps the best feature though is the Inn Keeper (and staff). She is kind and helpful and finds the perfect balance between friendly and professional.

This beautiful Inn on the National Historic Register is welcoming. The rooms are well equipped with comfortable beds and great baths. It is a B & B so the breakfasts are out standing. It has comfortable seating areas inside and out with large grounds. The Innkeeper and staff are friendly and give good advise on things to to and where to eat.

From the moment we were greeted by Dawn and entered Captain Nickels Inn in Searsport, Me., we felt we had stepped into a castle, that was not only warm and inviting, but abounding in eclectic beauty and charming decor throughout all the rooms! The multiple windows were illuminated by the sunlight ,looking out to six acres of gardens and a long vista to the sea , flanked by comfy Adirondack chairs. We stayed in the lovely, luxurious, room, The Elizabeth. Mornings were met with gourmet, delicious breakfasts, crafted by Dawn and served by her wonderful staff. Although there is a plethora of activities and places to see in the area, displayed in a three ring binder, we sometimes enjoyed just sitting by the sea or in the interesting library. Cocktail time in the 1784 Tavern, overlooking the vast property, is another wonderful opportunity to relax and mix with the guests. . We cannot remember a place, where guests were treated more royally, and will continue to visit this outstanding inn again and again!!! Thank you from our hearts to Dawn and her staff for making this special vacation such a memorable experience!!! Katheryn Chasse Tom Moore

The inn is a meticulously restored gem of a property on a delightful stretch of the mid coast of Maine. Searsport is a self-sufficient village that is within a short drive of many of Maine's popular destinations. The staff has a grasp on all of the areas attractions and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was both relaxing and exciting. The breakfasts were a daily celebration of start of another glorious day on the bay.

We saw this beautiful Inn when we were passing through Spearsport ME. 6 years ago on vacation from Ohio. We were taken in by how unique it was and met the owner who happened to be outside. . She was so very hospitable and told us her plans for Inn that she had recently purchased. We told her we would love to come back one day. We did! It was all I had expected and more! A perfect place to celebrate our 55th anniversary. We highly recommend it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
