This property has a decent location. It is not in the middle of Old Scottsdale, so transportation is helpful if going there unless you enjoy walking. However, there are conveniences within walking distance. Apparently this hotel used to be owned by a different hotel chain and is currently being remodeled. I had read previous reviews, which indicated a 3.5 star rating. But I was put into an old, unremodeled room. In my opinion, the hotel should post about remodeling and the possibility that you will be assigned an old, unremodeled room, and you will likely encounter areas that are under construction, even in your own hallway. The decor is quite dark and the bathroom lighting is bad if you need to use a mirror for things like makeup application. There is a shelf inside the shower which has apparently been threatening to detach for quite a while, as it was hanging on by the separating caulk. Though I did like the ample counter space. Bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. Complimentary breakfast needs serious attention. I believe the choices are between a pre-packaged muffin or some sort of granola bar. There was a juice machine and coffee. The signage on the hotel is very obscure and makes the location challenging to find. I'm not sure if the listed address is incorrect, but the map app took me to the nursing home next door.
